Assistance with choosing a paint color

I recently purchased this bedding set from overstock:

It is not that purple in person but still beautiful. It is more of a burgundy with gold threads and chocolate running through it. I went to Lowe's and picked out two colors and purchased the samples. We put both on the wall and I really like the chocolate cherry color better then the gold. I just worry that it may be too dark with the bedding. But then again I like the coziness look that it may have. The molding is white and the floor is hardwood but a lighter color.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
