Who has Henry Leather Stool for Counter Height

I remember reading someones post regarding these stools.

I would love to see a picture of them in your house.

They are higher than counter height, 27" but another store says 30". I don't want them to be too high, do they fit great?Are they super comfortable, we will use them all the time. Our island will be ready in a couple weeks and I'm considering a parson chair vinyl or leather,black or chestnut, and these are the only reasonably priced leather ones I've found at SturbridgeYankee, has anyone seen them anywhere else??

I'm considering this stool, 6 stools, they are a couple inches higher than counter stool height, will this be a problem??? 26.75 " Granite is verde peacock, similar to uba tuba, appliances are black, and black glass, would you order black or chestnut stools ?? Thanks for your opinions.
Curious to see if anyone likes them. I need something super comfortable, island seating will be used for our kitchen table and used often.

I did have but did not particularly care for them. Well, in fact, I may have owned too much leather in my life. I gave my leather sofa, love seat, pub chairs and recliner to a family member and gave my bar stools to another family member. I think I was burned out on leather. I had some of it since the 1980s and some since the 1990s and early Y2K century. Just got tired of it. It is good stuff. You just cannot wear out leather. You just tire of it. :-) Now that leather jackets are becoming trendy again, I wish I had all the leather and suede jackets I have owned through the years.

Thanks for all the info. Sorry I wasn't clear mercymygft, 22" to the top of the frame. Wish I had your sales rep sas9! The salesperson I normally deal with was going on vacation and he told me I could place the order with anyone because they were not on commission. I didn't like the salesperson I was dealing with but did not want to be rude, so I placed the order with her. I probably would have gotten better info from my regular guy. I called the manufacturer and they told me I could have had the stools made anywhere from 24-30 inches. Sigh. They cannot be returned angela12345 because they were a custom order. On a positive note, I have been a regular customer of the furniture store for many years. They have taken the stools back and are looking to see if they can add some inches under the seat. If they can't maybe you can give me some pointers on eating at chest level:)

They are the Venetian - 24 inch stools. They are really comfortable and clean up nicely. I spent a long time agonizing over counter stools and I'm happy with them! They have a bar in the front and on the sides - it's a good position for a foot rest. They look great with the soapstone. Even though the soapstone is on the perimeter and the marble is at the island, I like it a lot. I didn't want to try to match the island. Good luck!

Hi Bev, Sorry to say that "ct" is indeed Connecticut, and the table was made by a local cabinetmaker. However, before we decided to use him, we priced our options online and found a couple of places that could do a "round table with the end cut off" for us -- DeVos in Texas and Grothouse Lumber in Pennsylvania were both excellent options. (And both were REALLY nice and extremely helpful!) We ended up with African mahogany because that was the only wood that our local guy could use and stay within the pricing of the online suppliers, but they offered many other options and both were willing to make an odd-shaped tabletop if we provided either a template or exact measurements. We went with the local guy in part because he was able to match the bids we had and -- more importantly -- because he could make the pedestal as well. There are other options (metal pedestals) you could buy online, but I liked having it custom made of the same wood as the table. So all in all, it was easier to use the local guy -- he came and installed it, he saw the space and the island before he made it, etc. I suspect any good cabinetmaker could make a custom table for you. This one ran about $2,000. (Our guy REALLY wanted to use a crotch-cut walnut table, hunting-lodge style: rustic, "unusual" etc. I had to gently just KEEP saying "umm, no... round, please" I'm sure the "rustic" walnut would have been stunning, but we were looking for a different look...) We LOVE the round, it encourages conversation, is very flexible in numbers of chairs, etc. We, too, have lots of windows and a big 12-foot slider in this kitchen/family room -- we didn't want to commit floor space to a full table and chairs. I looked at those and thought they were very bulky looking?? I was looking for decent priced, real leather (not bonded or otherwise) counter stools for weeks. Found these on overstock.com, I got them in black, tons of good reviews so I went for it. First set came in with a broken leg, but I reordered and the second set was fine. Leather is very nice, legs aren't the best, but for the price you can't beat them. The height is 26", little higher than what i would have liked, but we've eaten at the bar with them and it's fine. the backs come just above the counter, nice look. Read all the reviews and see what you think. I'm giving you a link to the brown, since that's what you have pictured. Oh, and they sell out frequently but seem to get them back quick enough. Someone on the kitchen forum got them too...but I can't remember who it was?? Good Luck!

Found out Henry leather was a bicast, site had called them Leather.Yes a bulky chair, but I figured fat friends would be comfortable!! Yes I did consider cosmopolitan leather stools from overstock, I think I'd miss the high back, they are only 36" tall, are they high enough?? I also like the parson from Target. Still unsure if I want black or brown color, granite to be installed soon, is similar to uba tuba, and appliances are black. Island cabinetry is white with wheat glaze, and glaze color picks up cabinet color. Optionalnecesssity , can I see a picture. Thanks.
