Russel Hantz has a new show.

Someone thinks he has some kind of talent. Russell Hantz from "Survivor" has a new show, "Flipped Off" on A&E about house flipping. I can't believe someone actually thinks this guy is worth watching.

I love big showy houses! Though I'd say the exterior on this one is particularly unimaginative. Indeed, I have recurrent dreams about massive homes. In one, my home is a wing of a high-end shopping mall. This way, mrs worthy has only to roll out of bed to break the bank, instead of all that schlepping two miles up the road. In another, I suddenly remember a mansion I started but lost track of a year ago. Probably relates to the clients who ran out of money for a few months, so everything came to a halt! Love the gym, indoor pool and the theatre. And now I know why the Phat clothes my daughter wears cost so bloody much! (I'm a Target kind of guy.) Take a look (and here) at the highest price spec home in our neck of the woods: 30,000 s.f., asking C$23 million. If it doesn't sell, the builder will retain it as his own home.

Fantastic pics this morning!!!!! Happy Birthday Spot!!! You are adorable, and very much "looking cute!" I love watching agility trials, flyball, etc on tv. Jack Russells are so fast! I have never seen them wear muzzles before, perhaps this is new, since I've last seen them race.

J L Well, those look great and raring to go and the roots look good too! You've got a great selection there that should provide you with lovely colorful blooms over the coming months. I'm glad you could make it while there was still something to choose from! Since I most likely couldn't make it until the middle of next week, I may take a pass and wait until next year. I cannot stand him but watched the first episode because I was curious. He does it with his brother, who he bosses around really bad. Russell is still trying to be the puppet master. He thinks he's in control of everything. And he pushed a cop because his temper got out of hand and almost got himself arrested until his brother talked the cop into giving him a break. His marriage on this first episode was crumbling (and now he's divorced, or in the process of a divorce I believe).

Hopefully someday he'll realize what a jerk he looks like and is being to people and see that there's a lot more to life that what he's doing.

I can't believe there is another show about flipping houses. In this real estate market, I thought no one was doing that anymore. Even Jeff Lewis switched to decorating. I love Interior Therapy. Jeff, Jenny and Zoila are a riot.

I tuned in about half way though the show and could only stand to watch a few minutes. He is verbally and physically abusive. I wish the cop would have hauled him off to jail. I can't see this show lasting very long.

dedtired, I too enjoy watching Interior Therapy. I love the relationship between the three, plus his designs are brilliant!

I think the whole deal with the cop was contrived. And so was that part where Russell busted the water pipe and his brother went for a dip in the water-filled hole. Honestly, I do like shows with drama, and loved hating Russell on Survivor, but I could not force myself to watch the entire show. It left me feeling uncomfortable.

I had to watch at least the first one and it will be the last, the entire show was set up the part with the cop was totally fake the "cop" could not even figure out how to put handcuffs on. It was fake from top to bottom as so many of these shows are today.

I like the shows on HGTV and DIY that are real people doing real work on real houses, not a bunch of idiots trying to act and working from a very poor script.

I agree Raven, I like HGTV and DIY. I like Jeff Lewis also. Didn't even watch Russell's first show. I can't imagine how in the heck he ever got a show. Good Lord, might as well give me one!

It could be about cooktops! smooth...coil....electric....gas...white....black....stainless....modular....hahahaha My show would be AT LEAST as good as his!!
