Price Pfister faucets

I certainly don't want to step on anyone's toes here so forgive me if I do. However, I have a basic questions. I've been to the plumbing store and they do not recommend Price Pfister anything because of the quality. They will sell the sink faucets but will not sell the shower or roman tub parts. Another friend also said the quality isn't there, but didn't go into detail. Am I being upsold here or what? I hate that I thought we'd made a decision and now basically being told its not good quality. They sell tons of brands in the store by the way. And also they don't recommend a Tuscon or Venetian color (they will sell it though) but they feel it will become outdated soon. Going to take 2 Tylenol's now!!!

Walk over to the spare parts aisle and see if you can buy spare parts. Recently I tried and was told I had to get them via the internet. Plumbing parts need to be available on demand.

Excellent idea that I'd not thought of. I just don't understand why have it in the show room if plumbers won't install? Your idea is great, thanks.

Black & Decker owns Price Pfister now. HD and Lowe's carry many of their items. I don't know about parts, though, as I always call Price Pfister and get the parts free under their Pforever Warranty. Kevin Just an FYI to Anewbeginning: Building a new home now and though we chose Grohe for the kitchen, the three bathrooms are all Price Pfister.

We have resolved the problem by replacing the entire unit with a like one and the new one is working. It was a single handled kitchen faucet, the cute antique looking rubbed bronze one. I know the cartridge had to be set in place with a groove and protrusion which made sure you were putting it in right. We tried replacing the cartridge 2X and just ended up having to take the whole thing out. Hope the new one works! Also, passing info on to others of you all who might have similar situations with PF.

I have it. Don't know if I love it yet as it's not yet installed. I really like the looks and liked the feel in the showroom. Wish I could tell you more. Someday. I hope.

Avoid Price Pfister faucets, professionals know this.

I just changed all my faucets out with Delta, parts are available at Lowes and Home Depot. Delta has a lifetime warranty on the finish to the original purchaser, if they leak they will also send free replacemnt parts. I really like the feel of the faucets.
