Thanks to both. I called many of the online vendors who claim to have it in stock & was told that in fact they could no longer get it. I even called Jennair- the very helpful rep made a couple calls to local large vendors in my area hoping they would have some stockpiled somewhere. One told me they could definitely get it for me. I went in spent half the morning , gave my credit card & was assured they could get it. Then yesterday get a "tail between the legs" call saying they were wrong & can't get it. Claybabe- the issue is partly the size, although I m pretty sure the cabinet maker can still work around that, but more importantly the panel ready no dispenser. UI have found that Kitchenaid makes a frenchdoor model with no dispenser that looks like it would do, but it's ore than $1k more expensive and does not come with handles so that's additional expense. Trying to do this for less than $3-4K or the cost of a built-in. I have only found one model, a frigidaire, which has a stainless dispenser. All others have only black or white dispenser (which I don't like the look of). I worry about paying extra $ for panels for a Frigidaire when I'm not sure it has the longevity of the other brands. Care to wiegh in on that aspect? Again, thanks for your insights!

Most of it is personal taste. Refrigerators create a strong seal when they're cycling, plus have heavy duty closures so that they won't be ajar. For them you need a sturdy pull with good screws and threads to make a secure handle. For a drop down door standard dishwasher you also need something that's well anchored, but some people just have a single knob. Whatever will give you good control will be fine. I don't know if there are particular considerations for dishdrawers, but I've seen them with regular drawer pulls. So long as they're not flimsy and are well secured you can pretty much choose whatever you want. But choose something that's easy to grab and pull on for frequently used things like fridges and dishwashers.

I used a variety of sizes of Amerock Highland Ridge... Naturally I made a spreadsheet to detail everything. For my big drawers (30"+), I used the 160mm size. For my drawers that weren't quite as big, plus the trash pullout & dishwasher, I went with the 128mm. My top drawers over the big drawers were split into two, so I went with the smaller 96mm. Then I have 2 flip up narrow cabinets over the fridge/pantry, so I used the small 3" pull on those. And I also have appliance pulls for my fridge/freezer/pantry. For my knobs on the cabinets, I used the larger size (1-1/4") of and Emtek knob. I first got the smaller (1") size and they were too small. This picture actually shows all 5 different sizes and the knobs. :p
