baseboards not matching door jambs?

I'm in the process of redecorating a bedroom/exercise room. I'm going to be using cork plank flooring in a very light color, almost a cream/beige, and painting the walls a light yellow (Behr Honeytone). Our current baseboards throughout the entire house are a generic light oak color, that's made of some sort of cheap composite. It perfectly matches the color of the door jambs and doors. We want to replace the baseboards in this room with a nicer, white, taller baseboard. I just don't know if that would clash with the oak colored door jamb and door. Will I need to paint those?
