Casy, that peregrine falcon is sooooo beautiful. We had one kill itself by flying into our sliding glass doors when we lived in Ohio. We felt so bad for it.

That was a rhea at the Rio Zoo.

These three are in a bird park just outside Iguassu Falls National Park in Brazil

Thanks. That last one of the King Vulture was a cheat. I tried several times to get a good picture of the bird in the enclosure, but the fencing was in the way, and the bird kept moving. So instead I took a picture of the large poster of the bird on the information sign right outside the enclosure.

Its similar to this picture of a poster in the Iguassu Falls gift shop, where there was no way for me to get the shot without taking an expensive helicopter ride. However I still wanted to capture the overall view of the falls so I could remember them and explain them to others.

Bob - that was smart!! Great idea and yeah, that vulture could give one nightmares. :)
