Here's what I put together for a baked good gift exchange as something "extra" to go with the cookies or holiday breads. I'll be attaching a gift tag with "directions" but for now, here they are...

I used the little 4 x 6 mini sacks from Michaels, and an option is to include an inch of mini marshmallows on top of the cocoa mix and then tie it closed with a ribbon. More options are to add cinnamon or instant coffee flakes to the batch when you make it.

Recipe--this makes 5 bags, and of course, there are a lot of variations on-line that you can check out too

2 1/2 C non-fat instant powdered milk

1/2 C French Vanilla powdered creamer

1/4 C plus 1/8 C granulated sugar

1/2 C Dutch processed cocoa

Mix all together.

To package, an individual serving is 1/3 C plus 1/8 C, so that's the amount of the mix that goes into each bag (ask me how I know this is the best measurement ha ha). Just add 6 to 8 ounces of hot water to the mix in a cup. You can also add the mix to hot water, too (tried that today and it worked fine!)
