Water recirculator- please QA my plan

I intend on installing a water recircultion system in my addition. I am familiar with the different types of systems and have decided to go with a circulating pump at the water heater controlled by motion detectors on the second floor bathrooms (a long way from water heater). I desire for the pump to turn on when someone enters one of those bathrooms and then turn off once warm water has reached the farthest fixture.

I plan on running a 3/4" pex return line from the farthest fixture back to the water heater. I plan on using a Taco 003 priority zoning circulator: http://www.blueridgecompany.com/documents/taco_priority_zoning.pdf

It appears to me that the circulator can be controlled by either 24VAC or 115VAC inputs. Am I reading that right?

I plan on using a motion detector control similar to this one: http://www.elights.com/ceiling-sensors.html It has a timer feature adjustable from 10 seconds to 8 minutes. I'd set it to 2 minutes and then see if that was long enough to get hot water to the farthest fixture and adjust from there. This one is 115VAC. I will wire it such that a wire will go from the first sensor to the second and will be pigtailed so that only one line goes to the pump.

Am I on the right track here? I am having a tough time finding information on control systems other than timers attached to the pump that run them pump at preset times during the day. My life is not that scheduled....

Any other syggestions? I want the pump to run as minimally as possible as I'm trying to save money on electricity as well as have hot water when I turn the faucet.

Thanks- Scott
