I stopped by the thrift store and found an Eagle (Brand) Craftstor craft module. I have a large tote, the sewing module, and two compact totes (saving to give to a couple of my nieces), and several of the smaller insert storage modules. I'm still searching for the older, dark purple totes or another sewing module. I can't find them, even on eBay now. The first photo shows a sewing module. It's about 9x9x9x. The one I have is purple! It holds everything I need to take to the quilt shop for an evening of piecework. The module I found yesterday has different inserts, I think it's a knitting or crochet tote, but it's the same size as the sewing module. This was an excellent line of craft/sewing totes, well made in the USA and now discontinued. :( Here's the large craft tote with several inserts. I'm hoping to find this in the original deep purple/fuschia/teal colorway.

Gas! The only way to cook. Ideally, I want a dual fuel stove...gas cooktop and electric/convection double oven. What I'll probably get is a gas range. What I have is a wounded electric range. If I set the oven to 410 degrees, the oven will, eventually, heat up to 350. It takes it about 30 minutes to reach this temp. Three of the four burners work. Still, I'm not cooking over an open buffalo-chip fire to feed six children, so I'm not complaining!

I would stash it and stare at it for a few days, but would probably go have a pedicure. My feet are really needing attention, and the older I get the further my feet get from my face....can't do a good job myself anymore. The rest I would keep in hiding for a special occasion. Trin

(Canadian) Benjamin Moore CC680 Raindance. It's a blue-green or a green-blue, depending on the light and the time of day. If I knew how to post pics here, I'd show you the fake matching backsplash tiles I made.

Whirlpool electric, but I'm planning on changing over to gas.......I've burned more food and pans on this one, plus actually burning out one of the burners!!

I have no idea....and I'd have to walk to the kitchen to find out, LOL and I don't want to do that. It may be a GE, not sure. I don't know what the brands of any of my appliances are, I just bought ones with the features I liked.

Coincidentally, I just got an email from my daughter, who is building a house. She and her boyfriend just picked out appliances, and here's the stove. Looks nice.

Just replaced the 'old' (19 years) GE electric last week... new one is a Bosch electric with convection oven

Jenn Aire electric. Hate it!! The second kitchen has a Kenmore electric. It's OK, but I wish I could have gas.

My stovetop is a Harvest Gold electric Roper. Probably from the 70's. We're planning a kitchen remodel and I can't wait to get rid of that and my teeny little Roper wall oven. These are old though so they must have been good ones.

We are about to replace all our appliances in the kitchen. I'm in the office now, but I know it is gas but think it may be Caloric brand?!

Maytag ceramic top. I wish it was gas. I have been cooking with electricity for many years but I still love the gas stoves.

At the end of 2006 we finished our DIY kitchen remodel (took us 7 months!) and replaced the 36 yr old GE electric wall ovens and 20 yr old gas cooktop with a Wolf gas range. I wish I would have replaced same with same and went with electric wall ovens. I like the Wolf burners, very powerful, but not impressed with baking with gas. And I hate bending over! And it really isn't worth the price tag. I was talked into it, I won't say by who.

Amana -gas. I like the burners, which give me lots of control, from a low flame for simmering to a high flame for boiling water quickly. But I hate the oven and broiler. They get too hot. I actually set a potholder on fire once. Luckily, I had a sink full of water nearby and I threw it in there!
