Thank You, Countrycottageklutz!

What a fun time I had this swap, getting to know Kym (aka countrycottageklutz)! This was my first time swapping with someone from Canada, and Kym made sure I learned to appreciate all sorts of things from her country (as well as a dash of appreciation for her sweetie's native England).

The first thing I saw, when opening the package, was a wonderful home-made card. Isn't this beautiful??

It may not be spring yet in Canada, but Kym sure got into the spirit of the swap ... starting out with a re-usable box decorated in roses. Now how smart was that? I'll be using that for storage on the shelves in my computer room, and it will look WONDERFUL! Now, here we go ...

* springy gardening gloves (I'm forever losing one glove, or the pups hide one, these are perfect!)

* lady bug clip (took it to work! LOL! no mistaking which batch of papers is mine, all clipped together!)

* rubaway bar (removes onion smell -- can't wait to try this)

* spring magnetic refrigerator notepad

* real Canadian maple syrup (we'll be having breakfast for supper some night this week, I can't wait! I've never had anything other than normal grocery store syrup)

* Canada mug (perfect for drinking hot tea)

* Double-decker bus filled with tea bags from England (thanks, Dave!)

* chocolate coins (um, they melt in your mouth)

* chocolate-covered cranberries (I assume these were really really good. DH saw, he grabbed, he ate)

* cranberry soap (I smell SOOOOOOO good!)

* cranberry-peach jam (this was my FAVORITE. The next day, DH made homemade bread and we slathered still-warm pieces of bread with butter & this jam and OH-MY-WORD was it good. We made it last two nights! LOL!)

* Easter candy puzzle (I saved that for the grandsons, they'll be over this weekend)

* pewter paw print pin (for my furbabies)

Kym, I just loved getting to know you and picking out/receiving goodies. You were such a terrific swap partner, you made it fun! fun! fun! Thank you so very, very much for everything. I love it all! (and DH mumbled, with his mouth full, thank you for the chocolate covered cranberries).

I hope spring comes to you very soon, we finally did turn the corner just this weekend ... 60's and 70's all week with lows in the 50's. Yippee!

Patty
