I had a huge hoya a few years ago.....too huge! It hung from a beam in an alcove with incredible SW, S, SE exposures from three windows. It would be covered with nearly a hundred blooms for several months. OMG, I grew to hate that chocolatey smell! On a day that I was showing my bonsai collection in order to sell them, someone begged me to sell the hoya, too! Yay!

Joan, are you driving or flying? If driving, you can take them with you. Pull the entire plant and root ball out and put it in a double plastic bag. Water what is in the bag leaving the fruit outside. If flying, then why did he plant them?

The idiot who looks after the apt bldg across the street insists on using the snow blower when a quick shoveling will do. NO snow on the sidewalks, streets or parking lot, yet he's out at 6:30 this morning. There was some ice here and there, but he'd rather fire up the blower. I'm sure it's good for it!

mimipadv, love that pic of the mighty squirrel hunter! My granddog would react the same. Outside she chases them up the nearest tree and will dance around that tree for as long as I let her. Here the resident chipmunk taunts her.

Somebody was giving this cabinet away on Freecycle. She used it to store her scrapbooking supplies. I immediately asked for it and got it!!!

I had to enlist a friend of ours with a van, and being the sweetheart that he is, he helped me pick it up. It already has my cookie sheets and muffin tins in it (in the bottom cupboard with the dividers). It has 2 pull-out shelves too.
I love it, and it fits perfectly in the kitchen. Oh, it's kitty-approved too. All 3 of them gave their paw of approval.

Did you get both those pieces or the tall one? If only the tall one you couldn't have found a better match and a perfect fit for that space. High fivin' ya, Jas!

Love your kitty Schoolhouse.

The unit is one piece.....the tall one is joined to the lower cabinet. It probably was an entertainment unit in it's original life, as Dedtired mentioned. But the girl before me used it for her scrapbooking materials, and I've re-purposed it in the kitchen. It matches the cupboards perfectly.
