I don't recall the name of this location, but it is on Kauai.

Pixley Falls -- a little State Park not far from here. This was taken in mid-September 2012 shortly after our summer-long drought broke.

Jasdip that is what I thought at first too. But if you look at the way the bird is on the tree it right side up. Nuthatches love to walk down trees head first. Kittywhiskers

Party_music, we used candles and finishing nails pounded into wooden clothespins, then used the electric stove burners to heat rags to polish off the wax. Talk about a fire hazard! Those were the days :) I love grape hyacinths, too. Marcia

And you can cross a lengthy walkway ....

that takes you to the top of the largest part of the falls ...
