was drifting around checking food blogs & ran across these--they're filled with peppermint whipped cream & used as a "dunker" for fudge sauce. So clever !!

Here is a link that might be useful: Spoons

We recently attended a wedding and one of the appetizers at the reception was served on an edible 'spoon'. It was a savory appetizer (I guess I was so impressed with the spoon, I forgot what the heck was on it) and the spoon was rather crunchy and very small. Really clever!

    Oh, thank you---these are wonderful!

I've been on choux kick lately, too. Sweet as well as the savory gougeres.

Now, what about a filling and sauce for gougeres spoons?

    My imagination is running wild.....

Filling: Blend 1/2 pastry cream and 1/2 whipped cream.

An array of dips: Fudge (duh), caramel, strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, etc

Make them small...maybe about two bites....

    Yup, I like this idea!

Just last week in my daughter's cooking class at school she had to demo how to make, bake, fill (and eat) pate choux for a test. She just did the regular puffs. She got an "A" for her efforts. The teacher said Kayla's puffs rose more then her own did. (we practiced making them at home around 4 times before she felt comfortable doing it)
These spoons are so neat looking! And the fillings are endless. I'll have to show her when she gets back from school. Thanks for the link. NancyLouise
