Tennis; anyone? 4 more Harry pics

I was making Harry "Place" and "Stay" so he wasn't too happy for this photo. "Place" is our word for 'find a place to lay down.' We can't say "Lay Down" because "Down" is a totally different command for field work.

Harry likes to carry around a tennis ball stuck in the side of his mouth, like it's a really fat cigar! You should see him with two tennis balls, one in either cheek, like this! I'm still trying to get a good photo of that trick.

He gets comically creative at times and carries a tennis ball around by one tooth and his lip flap.

But no matter which version he chooses, "Tennis Ball" is his favorite game.

Caroline, I think Harry is the greatest..no wonder you like to take his picture and I'm glad you share them with us. :)

Question: His right eye looks a little red or droopy to me; does he have a problem with it?

I love your pictures. My Jake carries a stuffed toy around with him. I call it his pacifier.

Nice mural! I'd pick out the most neutral color and paint the remaining walls the light beige/taupe of the sky. Then you can have the green chair, blue bedding, red and gold accents...pretty much any color will work with a neutral background...and the mural will always be the 'star' of the room. It might be fun to repeat some of the items in the mural, in other parts of the room, too. Maybe have the toy chest or toddler bed, look like the boat. Stuffed animals that are similar to the animals in the mural, maybe even some 'leaf print' fabrics, at the windows. Have fun with the new room! :)

I wanted to store my Cuisinart with the work bowl attached in a 15" drawer, but it wasn't worth a dedicated drawer for one item, so I put it on the counter. You can also put some larger items over the fridge. I have a stockpot in mine. All my glassware is stored in a 4-drawer cabinet--three drawers of 6 1/4" and bottom of 9 1/2". There's a lot of room in there. My pie plates and rectangular baking pans are stacked. The only one that annoys me is the 9 x 13 pan on the bottom, but I usually use smaller pans for just us two. I have a few stacks of two, like colanders and smaller baking pans. Covered casseroles are stored individually in the drawer. I also have a set of nested bowls, but they would be stacked even if I stored other pans on edge.

Looking for pics dark grout & 5x5 or 4x4 white tile

Bill, does a brick pattern 4x4 or 5x5 white tile with dark grout look bad? (Why do we only see subways with dark grout?) Let me put it this way-- it would look no better or worse than what you see in the picture I posted. Now, as to whether or not it would look "bad", that's up to you. My opinion, nor anyone else's would count. One thing to keep in mind, though-- if you're going to use a grout with that much contrast, the tile work had damn well be perfect, because if there's so much as 1/32" variation in a cut, or the size of a grout joint, it'll be seen bigtime. THAT'S why very few people will choose to use that much contrast. That, and the fact that it tends to overpower any other design feature in the room. But some people like that. Me personally, I like the look of that tub enclosure. It's the reason I saved it when it got posted about 5 years ago. But I'm in the minority.

He's my favorite dude; that's for sure.

The inner flap (third eyelid or nictitating membrane) on his left eye is brown; the inner flap on his right eye is white/clear. This makes his eyes appear asymmetrical at times. Both eyes are the same size, and in perfect health, but the differing pigmentation of the inner eyelids is very noticeable.

LOL...love those tennis ball pics...have you taught him to "speak" with the ball in his mouth??...We taught our shelties to speak while they had the ball in their mouths...what a riot!!
