That was Rosemary. She had a bunch on a thread about her bad time in a hotel, but that thread and a spin off thread were both pulled. And she left the board.

That's a sob when the sniping becomes so bad here that people quit over it. Disagreement, and difference of opinions is good, but not to the point where it just goes over the top.

I'm going to miss her.

I am shocked!!

I didn't know Rosemary has left the KT. I read all her posts and very much enjoyed the Sears homes photos as well as her other posts. I didn't see any thing that should cause a problem with anyone, or anything. Did I miss something?

Rosemary, if you see this, please come back. You have friends here, and we will miss you.

I've seen the KT go from something very special on the web, to a place where many won't come here any more because a few are so contentious. And that is a shame.

Reading this reminds me of one of Rosemary's posts about how Detroit is crumbling; similar to the KT :-(.

I too appreciated Rosemary. I missed all the ruckus but "they"would never make me leave and I'm sorry "they" were allowed to hurt a person in a way that would make them to leave. I'd like one of "them" to bring it on and see how they like it. It's disgraceful that people can't just keep quiet when they have nothing positive to contribute. Come back Rosemary!! Puleeeeeeze.

I hope Rosemary will come back. She's been here long enough to know that there are a few bad apples in the barrel, but most are wonderful friends.

I emailed her through her KT email link and asked her not to leave, but she never replied. I really enjoyed the floor plans she posted and seeing the actual house when she found it.

I too am sorry to hear that Rosemary left. I didn't post on the controversial one about the hotel, did not even finish reading all the posts, but I understood her point about customer service and agreed wholeheartedly.

I loved her Sears home posts she is a very talented lady and has some very impressive credentials. I too wish she would reconsider and return. Visiting her website was very informative and I enjoyed it.

So many times on forums it seems like we are back in the school yard and the bullies are back, so disappointing when adults show that kind of behavior. I have left several forums when they got so nasty it was just not enjoyable anymore. That is one reason I generally hang at the various computer help forums.

I'm shocked she left. I didn't know about it either!

Rosemary, please don't leave..Everyone enjoys all of what you have to say..and love your Sear's Home pictures..

What??????? What a loss to all of us and she so enjoyed sharing her love of those homes and her work documenting them. I hope she's lurking.

Can someone really be kicked off just like that? Can you come back with an alias? And Marilync as well? This is not right.

Socks12345, she wasn't kicked off. She said she was removing the KT from her bookmarks. An hour later, both threads were gone and she hasn't posted since. She left on her own and is free to come back any time she likes.

That's a surprise. I didn't know she had left. I always liked looking at the old Sears homes. I think we have some in our town. What was said to make her leave? I must have missed it all.

For those who enjoyed Rosemary's posts and wonderful pictures, they can be seen and enjoyed at the link below to her site. In some cases, I think one can make comments there too.

I believe you can find some of Rosemary's posts on boardreader.com. Just do a search under her posting name - apparently she uses it consistently so you will find her posts on other boards as well. Many with photos.
