How difficult is it to change out a tub?

There is a five foot tub that is very shallow, low in height. How much of a plumbing problem is it to install a new one that is higher with a higher overflow. I assume that I disconnect the stopper and the overflow then remove the old tub. I realize I need to remove tile and sheetrock to take the tub out. The fixtures are wall mounted, may have to move the spout up.

Most likely need a new drain and overflow assembly, install that and slide the new tub in. Attach the drain and stopper. I do not have access from the wall side so can't work from the end of the tub.. What other problems with the plumbing do I need to watch out for?
