TICOR D Bowl in 24' Wide Sink Cabinet?

Will the Ticor single "D" bowl fit in a 24" wide sink cabinet? If so, where does the faucet and soap dispenser go? Considering the Delta Allora faucet. Any pics? Thanks!

I don't have the "D" bowl (I have the 23" rectangle sink with the 21" bowl). However, I think I can answer your question -- the faucet would go in one of the back corners, with the soap dispenser in the other. Unless you have a larger or bumped out sink cabinet, you couldn't fit anything directly behind the sink. If you want/need more accessories around your sink, i.e., airgap, airswitch, etc., you might want to look at the rectangular sink, instead. HTH!

Thanks for the help! I'll have to check out the 23" rectangle sink. I didn't notice that one. I don't have any other accessories for the sink. No airgap and no airswitch.

Jaymielo Â It fits, it fits!!! I found a pullout and just had to share it with you so you can see a trash pullout under the Ticor sink, and a Evolution garbage disposal in a 33" sink base. (doing happy dance :) As you can see from the pictures above, the top of the cans nearly graze the 10" deep Ticor sink so over filling the bins is not an option. Our granite is the 3cm stuff which I believe is the thickest available; 2cm slabs should give more clearance. I couldn't believe it when I spotted the Rev-a-Shelf Double 27Qt. Pull-Out (RV-15PBC-S) in Lowes Saturday and it was over 50% less than the one on the Revashelf website (RV-15KD)!!! (The door mount kit was also 50% less). The installation was super easy. The only problem I encountered wasnÂt with the width or height, but the depth!!! Of all things, the thick air switch plug/box for the garbage disposal protrudes about 2" and interferes with the rear bin. Otherwise it fits perfectly! Fortunately since I planned on using the two bins for food scraps and redeemable cans/bottles I will only need a small pale for the food scrapsÂ I may just switch out the rear bin for a smaller pale for food scraps and leave it at that. If you have any control over the placement of your outlets and plumbing I would try to get them positioned so that they arenÂt directly behind the pullout and you'll have no problem. What faucet do you have for Ticor 405 D-bowl sink?

I think the OP means S405...the single-bowl D-shaped sink. Do a search on sink + 405, you may find one of the threads that recently discussed D-shaped vs rectangular sinks...IIRC, there were quite a few pictures of both types sink. I put a Ticor 405D in a 36" cabinet also. However my frameless cabinet had 3/4" sides, which makes the internal measurment of the cabinet 34 1/2". I did need to modify the cabinet so that the sink would fit, but it was only about 5 minutes work to do so. After installing the cabinet in the middle of the run of cabinets, I marked with a Sharpie along the top edge of the cabinet sides where the lip of the Ticor sink would extend to. I then put a flat bottom bit in my router and set the depth to about 3/32" and quickly routed out the marked area. If the measurment from the outside one bowl to the outside of the other bowl were greater than 34 1/2" then I would have had to do quite a bit more work to make the sink fit, but with only the lip of the sink overlapping the cabinet sides, it was no problem at all to make it fit.

I can not answer any of your questions because I have the smaller double bowl one and it is not installed yet..but i just want to comment on the quality..it looks beautiful and am very pleased..I have a double bowl now and can't imagine how i would do with a single..I know it would be alot easier when washing bigger items but i do hand wash alot and i would just rather fill the sink with water and wash the dishes on one side and then let dry on the other. as for answering your questions I would just call them and ask them..that way you know for sure...

I have the S405 in a corner cabinet but the diagonal space at the front is less than 24" so I think you'll be fine fitting it in the cabinet. And amsunshine is right for the faucet part. Although I have room behind the bowl because its a corner we thought the faucet would be too far back (and look funny) behind the sink so we set the faucet and airgap/soapdispenser and airswitch off to the sides. So this will give you a good idea of how that looks:

Vizslalover: Your advice is truly helptul. The photo really gives me a good idea of what the sink looks like with the faucet and soap on either side of it. I like the D bowl sink, because it is a little larger (I think) than the Ticor rectangle sink.

I really wanted a larger sink, but due to a lot of layout issues, I will probably end up with a 24" sink base. Are you happy with the size of your sink? The sink I've had for the past 18 years is the Kohler Mayfair which has an inside dimension of 21 x 15.

I've read so many good things about Ticor, and the price is certainly great. Are you happy with the quality of the sink?

We are EXTREMELY happy with the sink. It's deceptively huge and readily swallows a surprising amount of dishes/pots and pans. I also have no problem laying my cookie sheets flat in the bottom (this is an often cited 'test' on this forum). I have also been able to fit our large skillet and 2 saucepans side by side in the bottom for soaking. Amazing. The quality is outstanding and we love the included sink grid. Its not something we would have purchased but since it came with the sink we started using it and I would never be without one again.

A very happy Ticor owner here, if that's somehow not apparent :) The sink has been installed for a little over a year now.
