Gonna get a manicure/pedicure! Yea!

I am overdue. Haven't had either since January.

My feet and hands will be thankful, tomorrow.

How often do you get them?

Got a pedi last week I still had snowmen & christmas trees on my big toes.Maybe I need to go a bit more often ...LOL

Manicure, nail refill, pedicure and massage every other Monday.

I am very aware of the price of foi gras. Back in the '80s it was around $18 for an appetizer and $80 for a dinner. That was very pricey for my area. In the late '90s foi gras ran about $35-40 for an appetizer. This is the price of foi gras in a large midwestern city. I KNOW it is much more costly in huge metropolitan areas like Chicago just like everything else there. I have not seen it offered recently. It tends to be a verbal in restaurants due to it's unreliable availability. It is also more of a seasonal item becoming more abundant around xmas when the big slaughter takes place. You just had to "know someone". And of course pay the higher price a contraband product commands. How much foi gras do they really add to the milkshake??? I am diabetic and this year I got a pair of Bio Fit shoes thru the foot doctor. They have definitely helped me. But expensive. Since I am old and on medicare, medicare pays for one pair of diabetic shoes per year. I am going to by myself another pair,. Quick question......I have been getting pictures of all of my grandkids on the first day of school...........are you going to take your pic on the first day of school.....sign and all? LOL! Well, it's slightly before 6AM, and I just went out and got the paper - everything is dry as a bone, with no wind ("they" said it would start raining at midnight). However, our local weather forecasters' timing as to when rain will start here is ALWAYS 6-12 hours too early for some weird reason, so I am still hoping. I just checked again, and now "they" say the rain is supposed to start at 6:30AM and rain gently until about 4PM. We shall see. Jackie

Spring/Summer, I get a manicure/pedi once a month.
Winter, skip the pedi, but continue the manicure.

Never for me. I don't like the idea of people touching my feet. I don't do massages either.

I've never had a pedicure or manicure. I keep my finger nails short and rarely polish them because I'm either doing craft work or gardening. Toe nails get polished often. Ditto, I don't like anyone touching my feet.

Oh, I just did my toes! Even pulled the hairs off the big toe, LOL, will be wearing sandals tomorrow, and might as well look good. :)

When it gets to be sandals weather I get pedicures every 3 or 4 weeks. I don't get manicures except for very special occasions. I keep my nails short because between housework, yardwork and home repairs having longer manicured nails just doesn't fit my lifestyle.

Maybe once a year for a manicure. My nails take a beating but I like my toes polished every couple weeks. Hope next week to get a pedi. Tomarrow I'll be getting a swedish massage because I have several gift certs I need to use. My neck is really looking forward to it!! :)

I have had one pedicure in my life! That was about a year and a half ago.Didn't care for it.I do my own about every two weeks.Always keep polish on my toes(toenails that is).I did mine a couple of days ago and little Jillian wanted me to cut her toenails,which I always do anyway.I painted her toenails for the first time (she's 20 months old).Hot pink.She was so proud of them and showed them to everyone.When Rowdy (twin brother) saw them he wanted his done too! LOL I said no,your daddy would kill me! He always notices mine when I have just done them.

I love a pedicure and especially the hot oil massage after. I do my own fingernails. Had gels for years and it took AGES for my own nails to grow after having gels removed.
