If there is a pressure gauge I would check to see if built up pressure is causing the problem. With that little seepage it sounds more likely that you have a leaky valve and have to replace it.

Why are you playing with this valve? And its not a flow regulator, its a pressure reducing valve. There should be nothing to adjust. They're usually set for 12 pounds. Your boiler relief valve is set to release at 30 pounds.

SORRRY (havoc) for the mis-use of terminology! I was told (by manufaturer) to close it back a hair to restrict the pressure since it was going to 30#plus. Thats when It was over flowing. Since I have adjusted it a bit it seems to drain allot less water. none the less still a quart or so per week.
(Coolvt) it is getting up to 30#s at full heat 170. Which valve are you suggesting is leaking the Pressure relief valve is bad or the Pressure Reducing Valve?

I just went thru the same thing and the problem was too much water in my expansion tank. I have the old style tank so I just shut off the water flow to the tank and then drained it completely. Then I opened up the valve to the expansion tank and turned on the heat. The psi was now a steady 12psi down from 30.

Your pressure relief valve is working perfectly since it is releasing water at 30psi but your system should not be running that hi a pressure.
