My water aerobics instructor is starting to intruduce water zumba steps in our classes. If she succeeds, we're good to go.

There's floor zumba classes at the health club, but I don't think I can do it. Water, yes!

I take the Zumba classes at my gym. They are fun and the music is normally pretty good, but vary depending on the teacher. In terms of a workout...you definitely break a sweat but it depends on how much you get into it. On the plus side, it feels more like having fun dancing then exercising. I think the DVDs would be great especially if you are unsure about the moves, you can practice as much as you like. If you are trying it for weight loss, I think you'd need something more cardio, but would be a nice supplement to other things walking, lifting weights etc.

Do you have digital cable? You might already have it on your TV. I came across an exercise/health type channel and pretty sure there was zumba when I was exploring the free "on demand" and how to use it. Sorry I didn't learn how to use it enough to give you directions. Your local company could help.

The girls love Lauren's Just Dance for Wii. I just bought Just Dance 2 also. They really get into it and sweat like crazy. When I feel up to it I may try it myself when no one's here. lol. I also thought about the Zumba too, maybe will get one later when they are tired of the Just Dance ones.

Tell me what you think of it... as I am/was also considering getting the DVD's but never followed through. Was in a money crunch at the time... and had to wait.

I don't have the DVD's but I know lots of people that do and they all love it. When I asked them to join me in the class, a couple indicated they felt to self conscious to take the class but when they get the moves down they'll join me. It hasn't happened yet. But they all say the love the DVD's.

I think I would like the DVD but I'm taking the class with my daughter. Once it's done, I may buy the DVD.

DD's MIL has lost over 60 lbs doing Zumba. She loves it.

my girls and i are doing zumba on the wii i dont know where she got it we did it today and had a blast we moved all my livingroom furniture to my kitchen ,,,,im in a one bedroom apt. suspose to do it tommorrow also
