I'm afraid I'm not familiar with either Cardell or DuraSupreme, but I agree with you that navigating all of the differences between cabinet companies is very confusing. I certainly haven't figured it all out yet, but I did find this earlier thread comparing prices across brands very useful. Perhaps you will, too. As I recall, it does mention DuraSupreme. Good luck! Hi, I am a Dynasty dealer so I can tell you what I know about Dynasty! I have been selling Dynasty for about six years, and in all that time, I have received exactly three phone calls regarding problems with the painted finish. All three were doors on sink bases (the tops of the doors) which had gotten wet and were not dried. The center panels of Dynasty's doors are MDF to help control the finish breaks at the joints of the door panels as well as within the panel itself. Wood expands and contracts with the humidity levels in the home. A typical door center panel is constructed of several smaller panels joined together to form the larger panel. Dynasty's solid center panel construction prevents vertical finish breaks along these joints. As the center panel does not move, it also puts less pressure on the wood frame of the door, minimizing the breaks there. Your dealer should be able to explain this to you as well. It is not intended to be a "cheaper" construction technique, just different! Dynasty's drawer glides are also Blum, so will have the warranty. The hinges are made by "Salice". I know Dynasty will stand by the hinge, but I'm not sure if the company has its own warranty like Blum does. Hope this helps!

There would be no contest between unassembled and something of Dynasty's quality already assembled. Painting parts and pieces and then assembling them isn't the best idea. Someone besides an expert in cabinetry assembling the cabinets also is questionable quality control if you want to compare the two. It's apples and oranges. Sure, there might not be any issues, but if there are, you've got a lot more fingers pointing around at who caused the problem, with no one wanting to accept responsibility for the issue. Also, are you really sure you want to 100% accept the responsibility for knowing what clearances the cabinets need in order to function? What size oven cabinet you need? How to trim that cabinet to fit? I can do every one of Dynasty's cabinets that will show in the design with an extended side in order for it to be scribed to the waviness of the wall. I can also do an extended stile instead of a filler against a wall or tall cabinet so that it's more seamless. Do you understand what that brings to the design? And how little it actually costs to be able to do details like that that make all of the difference in appearance and function?

We have a mix of Omega Dynasty and their next line down in a lighter oak. I really like the look of this and the cabinets are functioning well. Originally, I wanted natural maple and was bothered by the great color variations in the store display kitchen. The oak seemed more uniform in color and was less expensive. I can't comment on the other line you're considering.
