Highest I saw in Lexington today was $3.25!!!

Just got back into town a couple hours ago -- we were in the Sonoma Valley for the last 5 days. Noticed on our way out this morning that the gas station across the street from where we had breakfast had raised the prices since yesterday - for example, yesterday diesel was $3.99 per gallon, this morning it was $4.09.

So why is it, in this time of rising gas prices, that the powers that be in the cities/counties, etc., can't manage to time the lights so you don't have to stop at every one as you drive down the street? Do they not realize that the constant stopping and starting uses more gas and causes more pollution?

In my area it's $3.12, but that won't last long :o(

The other day it was $3.53 for the cheap stuff....luckily I don't drive my car much. $15.00 will last me 2 weeks. My car sits all week and the week ends lately it goes to the grocery store or to the boys houses which isn't far at all. DH puts $20.00 in his car every 2 weeks and goes to and from work only so it's not bad either. We're lucky he works close by!

Two weeks ago I paid $3.09 for gas, a week ago it was $3.19, and now it's $3.40. That 31 cents in just two weeks. Yowch!

We paid $3.29 yesterday.

I haven't bought gas since August...so I wouldn't know...but I sure wish I did.....

I didn't go out today so I don't know what it is. I am hoping it isn't over $3. I plan to top off my tank tomorrow since gas seems to be rising daily.

It's $3.11 here for the cheapest. It figures. Holiday time, and summer vacations to start soon.

I paid $2.99 on Saturday here in SC. I will have to take a look tomorrow when I pass station. Sigh. I am going to have start walking soon.

$3.09 for the regular unleaded here in Kansas City, Missouri!

$3.35 is what I'd pay around here - a suburb of Portland, OR.

I took my dog to the vet yesterday--on the way, gas was $3.09--one hour later it was $3.19 and that is the cheapest place in town, all others are about .10 higher. OUCH!!

I haven't checked this mornign(it's 6:17 am.) but yesterday it was $3.69 here in Paso. Crazy!

Sunday it was $3.20 here, but with spring breakers arriving at the beach am sure it will go up. I have cut my driving way down.

I saw $3.61 today for the cheap stuff. I am in Orange County CA. I sure hope it stops rising, my job has just started me working in the field a few days a week and I am getting gas about 3 times a week now. AAarrrgh!

I think it was 3.19 yesterday when I put gas in my truck.

We definately want be taking a long trip in the Motor Home for a while. We get 6 miles per gallon. We might just take it to the Lake and park it for the Summer.

Gas in Canton Ohio is $3.45 today. Unbelievable!!! Pretty soon I won't even be able to afford to drive to work!! If I didn't have to take the boys to day care in the morning I would just ride the bus!

Yesterday, I noted the prices when passing several gas stations. They ranged from 3.04 to 3.09.

I just topped off my tank at $3.08/gallon. I still had half a tank but who knows how much it will be in a week or so. Fortunately, a tank of gas lasts me two to three weeks.

I just drove home from work and the only stationed that I happened to notice was here in our town: $3.36! It was $3.17 this morning when I left.

The best deal in town is $3.09 for regular. The down side is that station only has 2 pumps and no where to line up safely as the pumps are almost on the road.

I scoot in when there is a clear opening, otherwise I shop the local WaWa stations for the next best price and put in just barely enough until the next opening at the low priced gas station.

At 2:45 today..3.31 at AMPM 3.47 Safeway and 7-11, 3.49 at Cennex(farm store) and Tesaro.

We paid 3.28 for it yesterday.....guess I agree with msmarion. Can't wait to get the hog out.

Gorda is north of Ragged Point, which is about 20 miles north of Cambria, CA......and then Gorda is about half the way up Hwy 1 between Ragged Point and Big Sur. I wonder what the price of gas is in Cambria and Ragged Point?
We used to drive up the coast just to enjoy the scenery....it's beautiful but a costly jaunt, now.
