TRIPLE CHOCOLATE BUNDT CAKE

1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 (4 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix
1 (12 oz.) chocolate chips
1 3/4 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract

In large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, chocolate chips. In a separate bowl combine milk, eggs and vanilla extract. Add egg mixture to dry mixture and mix by hand until blended. Pour into a greased 10 inch (3 quart) bundt pan.

Bake 350�F for 50-55 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan.

FOR GLAZE:

2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. plus 2 tsp. water
1 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sifted powdered sugar

Combine cocoa, water, oil and cornstarch in a saucepan; cook over low heat until smooth. Add sugar; mix well. Drizzle warm glaze over cooled cake.

Linda, I don't think it's the one I'm referring to but it's close. The one I'm looking for didn't have a glaze recipe with it. I also think the chocolate cake was devils food.

Best Ever Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix
1 4 serving package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 cup sour cream
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup warm water
2 cups semisweet mini chocolate chips

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, mix together the cake and pudding mixes, sour cream, oil, beaten eggs and water. Stir in the chocolate chips and pour batter into a well greased 12 cup bundt pan.
3. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until top is springy to the touch and a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool cake thoroughly in pan at least an hour and a half before inverting onto a plate If desired, dust the cake with powdered sugar.

susanjf...try this one. It is great.
CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE

1 yellow cake mix with pudding in mix
1 4 oz.pkg chocolate instant pudding
one/half cup sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup water
4 large eggs
6 oz. chocolate chips
8 oz. sour cream
Combine first 3 ingredients, stirring with whisk to remove lumps. Add oil, water, eggs, chips, and sour cream.

Pour into greased and floured 12 cup Bundt pan.
Bake at 350degrees for 1 hour. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely on rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Denise, That's it. Thank you, thank you. I made this several times last year and everyone loved it. I have never made a from scratch cake that got as many compliments.

I think that cake has been around awhile. I used to make it frequently in the eighties from a recipe posted in the newspaper. I use regular sized chocolate chips.

Karen, I was sure this recipe was the one you are looking for.

Not from scratch, but the best cake ever

I had to make this 3 times over Christmas, everyone agreed it was the best chocolate cake they have ever had. I used different 12 cup bundt cake pans each time.

* I only let it cool for 30 minutes and it came right out of my pan each time as the choc. chips had cooled enough. I always use the crisco/oil/flour mix to grease my pans.

I used to make the one Denise shared. Really moist and great tasting!

I have also made the one Denise posted with the mini chocolate chips. It's a great cake.

A few years back, 5 perhaps, someone posted a Kalhua bourbon chocolate bundt cake made with a cake mix. It also had a ganache. It was SO good. I don't recall who posted it and I've lost the recipe.

Does this ring any bells with anyone?
