Anyone know how to get rid of the eyesore?

Just started little while ago

I see the larger space between the posts where the ad is supposed to be but I guess Ad Block is blocking it for me

Try to keep in mind what you're doing and somehow make sure about names of new blogs. Once deleted, you can't get your blog back, but there's a glitch in there somehow that lets somebody else 'steal' unused blogs. One that I deleted was picked up by a bot and turned into a soft porn site filled with links. I was able to get it totally deleted by blogspot, but it took a lot of effort. I found it by luck, else my old site would still be used for something I never intended. Delete the contents and start over using the same blog name, don't delete a blog. Nell

Kathy 813, I'm logged in and have FireFox and I still get the ad. When you downloaded FF did you also download the extension ADBLOCK? Scissors, I'm logged in and I have firefox and adaware. It is ADBLOCK that you want with FF. You should also have AdAware, it is Anti SpyWare. Have any of you contacted Tamara and expressed your displeasure? Sue

I am no longer seeing that blank space where the ad had been so maybe that means it is gone? I too use firefox with adblock plus and easylist I never see any of the ads or the error messages.

Thanks for the compliment! I'm having a BLAST with these - the hardest thing for me is deciding which yarn to use with which fleece, and there are soooo many choices. I've sold a few at work as well, and have a few "special orders". Each new combination I use, I think "wow, I'm keeping this one to give to so-and-so" - until I make the next one and I like it even better, lol!

Yes, Adblock just leaves a couple of extra empty lines. I luuuvvvv my AdBlock.

I have AdBlock, and it's allowing the Google ads in the middle of postings. It says it's "allowable."

me, too, on my iPad. NOT happy with it. I Think I am gonna change my search engine because of it. AND opt out of their information sharing. I usually stop buying products whose ads I see here. For instance I will not be buying I Can't Believe It's Not Butter even though I like it. Same for Crest.

Look for the tab on the ad, with Adblock--run the cursor over the ad and you should see the tab. Then just add it to the blocked list.

Glenda, AdBlock is a Firefox add-on.

I'm not getting a tab on the ad with AdBlock, ran the cursor all over it - no tab.

Adblock plus with the easylist subscription added to firefox will prevent all the ads including those new ones in the middle of the page. Any ad that shows up for those that have the above 3 mentioned items you need to slowly run the cursor around the edge of the ad till a tiny pop up shows that says block click that and it will add it to the block list and you will no longer see it. Be sure you have the easylist subscription if you are not seeing an option to block an ad.

If you do not use firefox you will need to look into other types of ad blockers. If you do use firefox it only takes about 2 mins to add the adblock plus add on and the easylist all of which is free.

Adblock Plus 2.0.3 the adblock plus add on just hit add to firefox then restart firefox

Add EasyList to Adblock Plus
click add easylist to adblock plus, restart firefox again just to make sure it all took.

ravencajun, I have Adblock plus with the easylist subscription added, and it still shows the Google ad and there is no tab when I move my cursor over it.

I would try adding the easylist subscription again, it may not be updated, also be sure to clear the cache in firefox. Look at the list of ads that are being blocked by adblock plus if you see something new, not red select it and add to the block list, click on the adblock icon red stop sign down at the bottom. I am not seeing any of the ads when using firefox adblock plus easylist combo I am seeing them on my tablet with no firefox.

Cleared my FF cache, and my easylist subscription is current--still seeing the Google ads and no tab to click on.

Since I don't see the ads in IE, I'll use IE instead of FF here.
