Still really sore.

THey were worried I wouldn't be able to pass gas or "more"..trust me the "more" has been no problem, wish I could stop that!! Any suggestions here would be VERY WELCOME!

Not oon pain meds past advil, not really in "pain" (bet you couldn't tell that from my spelling errors)

Boy this was way harder than I thought it would be!

Lymph nodes came back clean YEA.

GG: I think we all know what a "boxed" plant is.... aka "body bags". I see raspberries and grapes sold this way at nurseries and box stores every year, and even vines like clematis; here in my zone, the displays are a common site in spring, and I've bought many things over the years this way. Heck, my beautiful mature white tree peony, may she RIP, was a body-bagged one-stick wonder I bought over 20 years ago at one of the box stores: She died from transplanting to this house; it was a slow decline over time, I don't think she ever recovered from the move -- had nothing to do with originally being a body bag. Anyway, it's not a bad idea at all to grow them on if they're small -- I've done that before with bare-roots (regardless of the source), I'm more comfortable babying them in pots until they grow a good root system over the course of the spring/summer and planting in the ground in the fall. Depends on the plant and the beginning root size, though. I did that with the tree peony above -- the result speaks for itself.

Look up the manufacturer installation spec for the tile, then ask your tiler what the TCNA handbook recommends for miniminum grout joint width and then how to determine the grout width joint for rectified tile with facial variations. I'm sure it will be minimum 1/8". Just a note that if you were to go 1/16" it wouldn't be as meticulous an install and you would not be happy with the probable variation across the depth of grout caused by the tile's rounded edges.

HI all. We have Allstate. So far so good. Adjuster came out on Thursday and assessed everything. It will be covered and who knows until later if we will be dropped. It is what it is - we have no choice but to file. They were able to take granite off without damaging the backsplash tile but we will see if it lasts through installation. Cabinets were damaged and have been reordered. He said that if anything goes wrong when putting it back together, they will cover it. I have absolutely no idea when this started. Floors were not damaged when we left on vacation. We did leave the air conditioner on and the water off.

Is that a recent picture of your mom? If so, she looks no where near her age! She is very attractive. :) As for organizing, I think one of my neighbors may have done this recently. I don't know this neighbor well but from how she talked, I think she may have hoarding tendencies. Anyhoo, I find organizing something I do pretty well with. I also have a basket for things to be donated. We have drawers and cabinets at the back of our master closets (it's long and not real wide), and that helps. I have hanging thingies - one for long necklaces and one for scarves. I have shelf space above for purses and shoes that stay boxed. Out of season shoes go in the cabinet. I also have some hatbox type containers on shelves above where I can store items. In the bathroom and linen closets (one large and one small) baskets are my friends. The laundry area has storage for paper towels, toilet tissue, cleaning items (although a tote stays in the bathrooms with cleaning products for those), etc. Right now I do need to go through my husband's clothing and donate, etc. He's pretty good about keeping it in shape but I don't go through his things as often as mine. That's so funny about your kids!

Great news about the lymph nodes. For your "problem", try the BRAT diet....bananas, rice, applesauce, toast. If permitted, take an Imodium.

That's wonderful news about clear lymph nodes.
It has been a couple more days and my guess is you are feeling pretty "beat-up" by now. It always seems like the hospital folks like to send you home before the pain a missery really sets in. Take it easy and give yourself plenty of rest.

so glad you're posting!

the dry toast, banana, and applesauce works for me...if you don't respond to that, call the doc asap you don't want to get dehydrated, and have to go back for an iv of fluids...if you're like me, your poor arm is full of pokes as it is...
