Wow! I am dumb-founded by this but, after checking with Dawn at Sonoma Tilemakers, I've confirmed that these REALLY are their instructions for installing their crazed product in a wet enviroment. BUT, even after spending hundreds of dollars on the extra sealer and paying even more hundreds of dollars to have someone soak and towel-polish these tiles to prevent streaking, you will STILL have to keep a regular maintenance schedule to re-seal them every 6 months or so!!! I'll admit when I'm wrong, and I was wrong here. This manufacturer really does insist on a 5-minute soak in sealer for it's crazed tiles. Who would'a thunk? So, it would appear to me that this precaution is solely intended to give the manufacturer some legal "cover" as it does not extend any more lasting protection than a thorough sealing prior to and following the application of grout. Mustangs, You should go into business. Everyone can organize, but organizing as well as you do takes talent and imagination. Have you thought about writing a book? To include, just to name a few: Under each functional area (pantry, home office, entertainment area, garage..etc), list the thought process behind the organization, the instructions in steps, the source of tools (where to get the folders, containers, label makers..etc.), the maintenance schedule (replacing spices after a period of timeÂetc), and the potential for future growth (in case need to expend or change). Please use lots of photos . You don't even have to finish the entire book first, instead, you can electronically releasing it by chapters, I will be among the first ones to purchase the book.

Just a reminder - 90% of painting is proper prep. Painting cabs is a big bang for the buck but as you have found, only if you do it correctly. Otherwise, you're quickly back at square zero. Your time is worth money - don't waste it on a bad job! That means taking the doors off, a thorough cleaning, and going to a paint store, not a big box center, for good primer and either glossy or gloss enamel paint with quality rollers and brushes. Remember that paint needs 30 days to really harden completely, so don't do any hard scrubbing until then. If you like the old-fashioned look, keep the curvy valance over the sink - but if not, take it off as it's very dated. Most soffits are empty - BUT, not all of them! If you can knock a hole in a relatively inconspicuous place, check first before making the assumption you can rip it all out. It isn't unknown for ductwork to be hidden inside them. Where the table is: Not only can you get something fun for storage, like a hutch unit, but if you don't use the portable DW, dump it and get a movable wooden cart instead. JCPenney and Target have excellent ones that are RTA and relatively inexpensive. I have one I bought from Spiegel a couple of decades ago that I recently refinished - cabinet style with an expandable top - incredibly sturdy and now looks brand-new again. Or check your local Craigslist; you might be able to find a bargain cart that somebody's getting rid of. I just recently did this, in fact - got rid of a $300 butcher block cart for $50 because we just didn't need it any longer after rearranging our furniture. Hard to tell from a photo but it seems to me you have enough room on the left of the sink to put at least an 18" DW. They aren't cheap but can handle almost everything a standard 24" DW can, so you may want to look into this.

There is a strong market for old movie posters (check out ebay) If you need to display them (in your booth) use those black steel spring clips (binder clips) and secure them to foam core board. Since they were sent to movie theatres by the studios folded,creases from the folds do not harm the value. If someone decides to buy the poster he can take them to any conservator and the creases will be removed and the poster mounted on linen. Do not use tape or have them dry mounted by a frame shop...this does harm the value. Check out movie poster sites online to make sure you get a good price for these. some can be quite valuable.
