Thermador tells me that unless the same thing has been repaired at least 4 times, they won't consider the device "unrepairable" and consider a swap. And after the warranty you're obviously on your own. In addition, they have treated us as if we were an enemy. I'm not sure why they think that since, you know, we gave them 3k and they gave us an enormous piece of junk, headaches, and a total of 2 full days of missed work. Bosch owns Thermador, so I would stay away from both companies. In fact, I will, for the rest of my life, which will hopefully be a few more kitchen renos worth. I've got half a mind to pull it out, drive it to wherever Bosch's headquarters is, and dump it on the steps. Maybe put the video up on You Tube. At this point the 3k isn't worth the hassle. Getting arrested might be a pain though.

Is it at all possible you backed it up using the wrong suffix? Do you still have the original file on your hard drive. If you did give it the wrong suffix and you still have the original file on the hard drive simply burn it to the CD again with the correct suffix. If you deleted the original then copy the messed up file back to the hard drive and rename it with the correct suffix, then burn it again.

No one sees how big the basement is and, in my area, basement size is not considered part of the square footage for assessment purposes. What neighbors will notice is the height and width of your house-especially as viewed from the front. A house will smaller street frontage will appear smaller than a house of the same sq ft. area with greater street frontage. I don't know what you plan to cook on the griddles, but I can make perfect eggs and pancakes on *gasp* a large frying pan. So spend more time thinking about what you'll actually need for your family. With kids, you'll want a separate table for eating and lots of horizontal counter or table space for those school projects. You also might want counter space reserved for computer(s) to more easily observe your kids online activities. I'd make sure you've got those first. As to cooking appliances, it might be that separate wall ovens and cooktop/rangetop will fit your needs and space better so consider those options, too.

Does this problem happen while on the Internet, using Word, etc... or does it just happen on the internet? Always good to know a few more details! My problem is totally misspelling words, I'm thinking ahead and type letters of what I'm thinking about, not the letters I should be typing. Hard to explain, always have to read back and edit my posts! If it's just your Space Bar it could be that you're just not striking the Key perfectly. Try to pay attention when you're Typing, especially to the Space Bar! If when paying attention you notice you're having trouble with more than the Space Bar, it may be Software running in the Background, like your Anti-Virus Program. Many computers slow down and don't respond the same when the AV Program is scanning. Usually more RAM will remedy this problem (not always though). If it is just the Space Bar it is Highly likely that you have a problem with the Space Bar on that Keyboard. Best Option is to Replace the Keyboard! Wired Keyboards are relatively cheap! Wireless keyboards are usually a little more expensive! As stated above, Laptop Keyboards are a little more complicated but relatively cheap. New Laptop Keyboards can be purchased on Ebay for around $16-$30. On many new Laptops the Keyboards are very easy to replace. Usually a couple Screws on the Bottom of the computer and then a Ribbon Cable to unplug and plug back in! Some older models are a little more complicated. Type your model number into YouTube and see if there is a Video for replacing the keyboard on your model laptop! Usually pretty easy to follow the Videos on YouTube!
