thanks. truth be told due to the GBBC this weekend i was on a mission to get some killer shots.

Fun pictures - I was amused by all of the one-legged long-necked birds standing around - and the heron family is great. Claire

Two of my Phal orchids have been in bloom for a couple of months now, my spider plants always have flowers, and my purple shamrock (Oxalis) took a short break from blooming, but now it's started to flower again. I will post pictures later.

When I moved to Florida 7 years ago, I was devastated because I thought my sandhill, pine scrub property was void of any noticable wildlife. The few birds and squirrels I saw were scrawny. After being here for a few months, adding many feeders, and reading, reading, reading I realized how lucky I was to live here. I have seen gopher tortoises, shermans fox squirrels, eastern indigo snakes, burrowing owls, flying squirrels, fox, coyote, and tons of lizards, butterflies and birds. Here's a few pics I hope you'll enjoy . Rhonda
