Lake Butler is a very tiny community. Kinda like if you blink as you are going through it, you'll miss it. I don't know of anything interesting there to see unless you're interested in correctional facilities and a state prison nearby. Not familiar with any B&B's in that area. 30 miles southwest is a small town High Springs. There are several B&B's there. The Grady House is the one I would use. I don't remember the names of others. Lots of local folk. In the area is Camp Oleno. There are lots of springs in this area. Swimming, camping and I think they have horseback riding. There's Ichetucknee Springs State Park to the west at Ft. White. Ichetucknee River is a beautiful clear river and people from all over the U.S. and Canada come to go tubing. However Labor Day probably isn't a good time to do that due to the number of people. Their limit is 800 and they usually have to close the gates at the main springs by 10 am. I would suggest contacting the Chamber of Commerce in High Springs if you are interested in that area.

@Rina and @rooftopbrklyn forgive my delay in response, i had tried before, but in the woodz ;) in n fl reception is not predictable..anyway we made it back sometime during non respectable hours Monday, with the box store victims in cardboard boxes, and they survived till I finally got a chance to work on them about 2hrs ago. The pebbles coated in mystery glue actually came off with little effort in workable chunks. I used a thin tool resembling a flat head screwdriver, and worked in small quarters. Plz note I had my trusty assistant red heeler Sven helping, he would get terribly offended when I would ask him not to eat the mysterious glued pebbles or plants, then start squirming in on top of my work area! Thanks Sven much appreciated ;) I really like 2 of the types from each faux planter, the one that has tongue shaped leafs with purple tiger stripes, and the little ones that look like a aloe hybrid with various green and bright almost translucent light green stripes vertically. I know Im getting scientifically precise ;) lol So now that the pebbles have been removed and the plants have been examined/picked for research/curiosity they are awaiting me purchasing individual housing. So far i have been really impressed by their hardiness, it is amazing!! I fall more in love with my succulents daily, and can lose hours maintaining them, moving them around, and looking for new growth. I am hooked and definitely want to say a huge thank you to the seriously helpful members of this forum! I wouldn't have made it this far if hadn't been for all of you! Lately I have been a walking Mombie from hectic unpredictable schedule, and in desperate need of sleep, unable to obtain it thus far working with these succulent plants has given me some refreshing.
