Mine went up from $2.57, yesterday, when I gased up, to, today, $2.63.

What's your prices?

I passed a station this morning at $2.56 ... tonight when we gassed up (at that same station), it was $2.69.

Ours is now about $2.83 for the lowest, thats Fla for ya

The older style LP tanks do use an internal left handed thread. The new tanks all have the "OPD" (overfill protection device) and they also have an external right handed "worm" type thread. You have two options: get an adapter at Walmart for about $10.00 or, check the date on the old LP tank you have, if it is twelve years or older, then when you have it refilled they will require you to have it re-certified. It is probably cheaper for you in the long run just to do a tank exchange for about $16-$18 bucks. That way you are good for another twelve years. As far as your question about running the bbq on NG, it won't work without a conversion. LP gas is at a much greater pressure than NG so, consequently the orifices are smaller for LP than NG. You can check with Aussie and see if they offer an NG conversion kit. If not, you can attempt to drill out the orifices by hand. There are some places on this discussion board as well as others on the net that talk about how to do this. If you do that, you can also get a 12' Natural Gas hose with a quick disconnect on the end that would fit (maybe without an adapter) on your existing stub from your house and the bbq. Ours go all the way to the counter, so we've got 60" of cabinets, and 4-6" of crown: From New Folder (2) Ours are broken up, and have lots of glass, so while they're definitely tall, they don't look particularly long or hulking to my eye. Several of the prior posters have broken up their cabinets, too, and they look amazing, so that would definitely be an option for you if you were worried that one cabinet would look too monolithic. One thing I can say, though, is that if you have the option to go all the way to the ceiling, Do It! You won't regret the extra space, no matter how inconvenient it is to access (via stepladder or whatever). My kitchen is a decent size (15' x 21') and we don't have a lot of "stuff", but I'm really appreciating every inch I have. Cabinets up high can store less used serving pieces, appliances, linens and what not, so don't discount them just because the high shelves aren't as easily accesible as the lower ones-- they can still be useful!

NYC suburb, today the cheapest was $2.79. I am part of the Stop and Shop rewards program which is linked with Shell. However, Shell stations seem to be 30 cents or more above everyone else, so I have to wait until I have at least 40-50 cents in points saved up before I go there. But, when I do, it can be very cheap. Two weeks ago I filled up for $1.83 a gallon.

Heck yeah about 4-6 cents a day it seems..

I just came through town. Safeway 2.88, 7-11 2.77 still and yesterday AMPM was 2.85..the rest are 2.88 or 2.89.

Ours went up $.07/gal overnight. We're $2.71/gal. but get a $.02 discount using a card. Good thing I had filled up the day before the change. NOTE: any embedded ads are NOT my doing

$2.85 in town here, but out in the country where I am there are two stations competing with one at 2.75 and one at 2.69 so I filled up yesterday.

Yes - up 10 cents overnight - spring breakers and tourists are starting to invade our little vacation paradise, so everything is going up in cost.

It was $2.99 here on Monday....haven't been by a gas station since.

Fluctuates between 92 and 99 cents/litre here in one day.

$1/litre is $3.70 your gallon.

Does this have any connection with being a gas-bag?

Price here is about like jasdip's area - about $1.01+ a litre, yesterday ... and I'm getting that yellow light on the dash, this afternoon. The one that says, "If you don't put some gas into me pretty soon ...

... you're going to have to move out back, to push!".

Wisc price is $2.69/gal. Has gone up 10 cents since last week. Local pundits say it due to increased oil price (went over $80 a barrel this week), the change over to increased oxygenated gasoline for spring and summer conditions in this piece of hte state - mandated EPA rules for smog reduction. Local population says summer is coming with increased driving and the price goes up - charging what the market will bear. The business page says China is becomoing one of the world's big consumer of oil and its increased importation is affecting prices. This year, China will sell more new vehicles than the US.

Take your pick. Gasoline will be higher during the comming summer just like last year.
