Sounds like something Monsanto would come up with. The biggest reason bees, Monarchs, and other pollinators are in serious decline is because companies like Monsanto make Genetically Modified Crops (GMO's) that are immune to pesticides and herbicides that are sprayed on them, but kill everything else. In addition, these GMO crops do not need pollinators and are probably designed to kill pollinators so to prevent a natural way for nature to diffuse the genetic make up of these plants. What better way to control the food supply by patenting the crops that do not reseed, that your required to buy rather than save back seeds for next years crop, and that kill pollinators like bees, because even if you have a non-GMO crop, you may not have a pollinator like a bee to actually make the crop a reality because a company like Monsanto killed them all off.

I can't believe I missed this thread the first time around, we were on vacation for the initial post, but still! Everything is just beautiful, kygirl! I love the colors, your backsplash in the kitchen is beautiful, as are those gorgeous cabinets. Your master bath tile is great, and your fixtures look similar to mine (Eva by moen). Jenna, the cost means nothing because a lot depends not only on where in the country you are building, but also the finishes you choose to put into your home. Are you doing builder basics with formica, carpet, vinyl flooring, and basic moldings, or are you planning on level 5 quartzite, marble, wide plank oak flooring, and complicated details? And that's just on the interior. My own house depending on the materials chosen could have cost $500,000 to build or 2 million plus.

Bunnies are the worst. I literally gave them a buffet at a house we used to have in Bowling Green. After that one, we lived in the country and that's when we got cats. Never had a bunny problem. Not even a deer. I think reality is going to hit this spring here at the new house. Lol
