Help with Male who lifts his leg!

Hi,

I am the pet parent of 2 dogs: "Capone" a schnoodle and "Bugsey a poodle we adopted on his last day. Anyway, we have had Capone since he was 6 weeks, and Bugsey was 18 months (according to our vet--the shelter said he was 3) this past January. Both are neutered. Capone never "lifts his leg" on anything, but Bugsey is ruining the deck including the furniture and plants because he lifts his leg on everything. We even caught him lifting his leg on the fireplace. We taught Capone to ring a bell at the backdoor to go out and Bugsey just goes along with him. We cannot get him to ring the bell to go out, but since both are about the same size and on the same schedule, Capone just does all the signaling.

NOW we noticed that Capone is also lifting his leg on the plants in the yard and peeing on the garden gate/arbor. Does anyone know how to get this to stop. Capone always just sort of put his belly toward the ground to pee until big brother Bugsey showed this "his little trick".
