Is anyone here who remembers Dave Miller?

aka Dave/IL?

The wonderful guy who was a cameraman for NBC way back, and was always so generous with tips and help with photos? I learned so much from him.

Yesterday, he emailed me and said he has terminal, inoperable cancer.

What a shame.

He must have been before my time on the forum. Never-the-less, it saddens me to hear that. I wish him happiness and peace for whatever time he has left. My sympathy to you Joan and others that knew him.

joanie, i am saddened by this news, just the other day i had a thoughts of him...i'll be keeping dave and his loved ones in my prayers

I'm sorry your trip was a bust mrgpag :( I was there on Fri. which was opening day and they did seem a bit disorganized, although they don't seem to be the most organized folks even well into the season. A lot of the plants weren't labeled which was frustrating. When I was there last fall they had many cool conifers (lots of different golden pines, several J. communis Compressa, etc.) that were nowhere to be found. I just assumed they hadn't brought them out yet? Who knows?! At any rate I feel bad that you made the trip and were disappointed. Did you find anything at all?

Hello, I've just recently discovered this forum as I'm beginning a kitchen renovation. I too am planning to use the Frigidaire all-refrigerator and all-freezer units. The caster look is pretty interesting! A quick google search "all refrigerator on casters" turned up a number of hits for a Summit brand which looks just like the Frigidaire, it's about the same price too.

I can't believe no one has mentioned "Doggie"!!He wasn't around long I think Spike banned him over something...I just remember when his wife came in and posted that he had passed away suddenly...He wrote the most incredible poem...I'll share it with ya...
