You aren't kidding....beautiful picture. I love how the clouds and the trees seem to be shaped alike and that blue sky and sun rays make me wish I would have been there in person.

I like those kind of scenes too. Somehow they seem kind of inspirational almost.

I've got one kind of like that from the Alb Balloon festival with the sun up coming through a cloud bank that is kind of neat. I'll try to dig it up and post it too.

Ha. Really KT? Wouldn't that be quite a coincidence. FWIW, that was taken the first Saturday of the Festival. Where you there that day?

As coincidences go, I found out this week a long time internet friend from a basketball board was there that day too. Of course, since we've never seen each other in person, we could have walked right by each other for all we know.

Actually, I was there last year(2005). I wasn't sure when your photo was taken, when you first posted it. I was in Albuquerque this past August though.

I heard that the ascent was delayed for a while that Saturday when you were there, due to those clouds in your photo.

Yes, I admit, for a second there, I did think I saw myself among some others in your photo. Wouldn't that have been one for the books!

And, yes, there was a delay. My wife and were waiting for about an hour in a light rain to drizzle. We were glad when things improved and they could get all those balloons going. Well worth the wait though.
