All plywood is an expensive con sold as an ”upgrade”. It is not needed. Forget it. Diamond and Kraftmaid are the only two on your list worth using. The entire industry has been challenged with lead times, quality control, and distrubution logistics. Have realistic expectations in that regard. Also have reslistic expectations about the mid range quality level of those products. You are not listing anything high end or custom. Fabuwood is not even a mid level product. It is a import stock level product. As is Covered Bridge, though at a slightly higher options level than Fabuwood.

He's also from the T-town area so we had a lot in common, and he knows everything. He did graduate in the top of his class, which I saw online. Here's an example of what my old dentist would do, and I did call for an appointment on another tooth that went into deep pain but he was full during July 4th week. Pain went away, but I made the appointment with the dentist I saw yesterday. There are two of them and the office is something I've never seen before. Fully modern. Because my appt was at 1pm, I didn't have to wait. They close between noon and 1. My next appt will also be at Ipm. :) FOR $60 I had a full mouth x-ray which I've never had before and was kind of cool, then individual x-rays on each tooth, front and back, dentist had a big screen tv with all of my x'rays and pointed out each tooth one by one and gave me options. He left, then my teeth were cleaned, then the office manager came in and sat next to me while I was in the chair and gave me a print out of all of my x-rays, with things that needs to be done, and the cost of each procedure, how I want to pay and I'll be given a good discount if I pay for each procedure at a time. NO gingivitis or anything but the bridge is infected along with the tooth on the opposite side. I'm on an antibiotics and in early August the 4 get extracted at the same time to get ready for implants. I'll need a bone graft, and deep cleaning, and an upper tooth I recently broke from a pecan shell in my food will be given a root canal and crown. I told the manager I wanted conscious sedation and she asked why, and I said shots hurt so bad. She told me theirs don't. I do not remember my old dentist numbing the area before he gave me a shot and she said that's what keeps it from hurting. Sedation is $700. I'll take the shots. The hour long visit along with the x-rays and cleaning, was $60, whether I go back or not. When I got out of the chair I could hardly walk at first and the manager walked me to the front. I got in my car and months of built up stress left me. Went home and slept like a baby.

What a beautiful pan. I can see why your daughter is thrilled to have it. Off the top of my head, I thought I saw some reviews at Amazon that Cafe induction didn't work well with the Lodge griddle with grill underside. You might want to double check that though. I bought an antique griddle, the kind with two gate marks on the bottom. (Gate marks correspond to the slits where iron was poured into the mould back in the 19th century.) The gate marks are less than 1/4 inch high, so the griddle doesn't sit flat in direct contact with my Wolf cooktop. And yet it cooks fine. The electromagnetic field rises above the glass a bit & interacts with the griddle. Maybe your Cafe will work too. Hope so! How well does the griddle on a bridge work? Fine enough by me. There is a "cool" spot in between the elements. But it still gets hot enough to cook. Whatever is cooking in the middle doesn't brown as quickly as food on the ends do, but it's still thoroughly cooked. I just have to leave the middle foods on a bit longer, or shuffle them around with the end foods. So far, no one has complained because their third pancake isn't as golden brown as the first two.

News briefing going on now says 2 people rescued, one of those taken to the hospital and searching for 6 people. All 8 are believed to be part of a construction crew working on the bridge. No cars were believed to be on the bridge at near 1:30 this morning. They also confirmed that the ship that struck the bridge issued a mayday call prior to striking the bridge overnight. Looking at the ship == all those rectangles stacked on the deck are containers put on rail cars or 18 wheelers -- can only imagine the size and weight of that thing! Adding -- they have video of the collapse. Incredible, but also reassuring that they can view that and see whether cars were on the bridge. I haven't heard whether thay had time to stop traffic between the mayday call and the collapse, but one speaker said the mayday said they saved lives. Sounds like they did stop traffic -- wonder if they did not have time to get the construction crew off the bridge or if that was in process.
