I have no idea what they were doing. I went outside to take photos of the amazing sunset, pointed my camera to the hill and the old snag tree behind us, and they were just "there". Serendipity :)

This is Crimson Stella my longest and most prolific bloomer. Introduced by Lowes, 7 maybe 8 years ago .The 'Ruby Stella' may be the same daylily. There was a lot of talk among daylily officialdom as to who was who at the time. I love it. As you see, the foliage gets pretty ratty as usual this time of year, but it flowers on and on.

I also think I'll start keeping some sort of journal, as some on the forum have described, so I'll have a record of dates and such from year to year.
