We have the Fairfax pull out faucet in our kitchen, and the rubber cover over the toggle switch now has a slit in it. We've had the faucet for about 6 years, and the rubber just tore about 2 weeks ago. I looked online for a replacement part, but they don't seem to sell just that little rubber piece. It is easy to pop off, so I'm assuming the repair will be quite simple. joyce- Great to hear that you had success dealing with kohler. They are on my list of people to contact.

I do the same as Terriks - I alternate b/w Acorn, Britbox and PBS Masterpiece (offers a lot of foreign programs). I subscribe via my Prime account and just cancel/resubscribe thru Prime. I also occasionally subscribe to Apple TV, originally so I could watch Ted Lasso, then canceled until the last season came out then H and I binged and canceled.

Here is a small sample of WONDERFUL books and movies that come to mind immediately that are based on murder or other serious crimes committed by important characters: The Godfather In Cold Blood Chinatown Killers of the Flower Moon Silence of the Lambs Psycho Let's not forget the work of the English writer of filthy trash whose stories often have murders, like: Macbeth Othello Julius Caesar Hamlet King Lear and many others. Edit to add: Whether one agrees or not (I don't particularly), there have been many people over the last 70+ years who sincerely believed that individuals from military, political, and scientific circles who contributed to the development of the atomic bomb that killed several hundred thousand civilians were guilty of murder. So to have a complete list, the movie Oppenheimer should also be on the list of filth. A movie many speculate will win Best Picture.

DH and I thought The Pitt was very well done. Except for a few shots it wasn't filmed in Pittsburgh but I enjoyed hearing all the references to landmarks and institutions I that I know. I grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh and graduated from Pitt. Now I live near Philly and had to laugh when the head ER nurse commented as a fight broke out in the waiting room: "Where do you people think you are? This ain't Philly." DH was impressed with how accurate most of the medical aspects were. His chief complaint was the overwhelming drama when a week's worth of inner-city action was compressed into a single day. But that's TV in general. My biggest complaint was the difficulty in understanding the rapid dialogue which made it to hard to catch exactly what was happening. I know I annoyed DH because I kept pausing the video to ask him medical questions. I'm glad it's been renewed for another season.
