Don't mean to step on clairdo's parade here, but this alphabet thing has been so much fun, I'm getting eager to progress pass N. So O photos anyone?

With Halloween rapidly approaching, how about an Owl?

This photo was taken under absolutely the worst of conditions, late afternoon on a cold windy totally overcast day, and I had to shoot through a double layer chain link fence. If you look close the fence wire if faintly visible in the foreground of the pic.

"generous treatment" I think Hoov's got it pegged. What we finally did with it, we planted 'Flower Girl' on either side of it. Between those two Buxom Beauties, 'The Prince' is almost invisible. So if he's not blooming, or if he mildews a little, I don't notice much. Then, every so often, he pumps out one of these rich purple, fragrant, faux-antique blooms. I cut the blooms for the house, and go back to ignoring the plant. So we wouldn't dig him up, but we wouldn't plant another. Jeri

Hello, If you're looking for a hydrangea tree that can take a sunny location, the Quickfire, Limelight or the Pink Diamond would be great options. All of them come in tree form so you don't have to do anything on that front. Cottage Farms sells a Limelight and a Quickfire that you can purchase from QVC. I ordered two Quickfires and I'm waiting for them to arrive to be planted. I'm in CT so they've just begun shipping because of my zone. I already have a Pink Diamond hydrangea tree that I've had in my front yard for about six years. It came in a tree form and it's beautiful when it blooms. The only issue I have about the Pink Diamond is that it's still only about 5' tall. The mature height for it is supposed to be 8'-10'. I guess the time frame is questionable because it's very healthy so I don't know if it's just a slow grower or what. With the different material I've read, I've learned a few things that I will try to apply this spring/summer. Hopefully, that will make a difference in the size. I hope this helps! CeeView

Osteospermum? Wow,,I love to shoot pics of flowers but to tell the truth, I barely know weeds from water mellons, and that is sad when one considers I grew up on a dairy farm in Ohio....LOL

Having lived in both Texas & Florida I can testify first hand that nothing tastes better than true tree ripened oranges.

It would appear that Clarido has inadvertently stumbled upon my dream house. It also appears that their are three generations of ladies in that house. Seeing that she is the oldest lady in the picture I will concede that in this instance she may refer to herself as the old lady, but in reality judging by appearance, she is far from what one would call an "Old Lady"

On the other hand, I would like to add an "Old Man". Actually it is a self portrait that I took while out stalking deer. I posted this pic on my Yahoo profile and I have had a dozen ladies ask me if I will come sit in their flower garden as a "Gnome" lawn ornament....LOL

I sent this pic and my profile to the "Lonely Hearts Club" and it came back stamped.."We're not that lonely yet"!!
