and i promise im not crazy...of course crazy people would never admit to being....crazy...:)

Just decided to have some fun shopping these pics of me....out of the norm for this forum i think, but all the same....tis a pic after all!

Your photo conveys intense emotions and struggle very well. The use of B&W with the warmer colors of the angry figures is great. To me the B&W suggests despair and detachment. It might be a little edgy for this forum, I hope not. Just from a purely artistic pov, I would leave the words off and remove the hanging picture and other equipment in the scene. The starkness of the bare log walls is very effective and those objects distract. We are used to seeing pretty pictures here, this is an altogether different kind of photo.

Oh, and be sure to take the pix with you when you visit your shrink (just kidding).

Whew--it's HOT AND HUMID out there today! I'm figuring out ways to acquire more *spaaaacce* for all the in-coming hosta and the newly acquired ones at the KNOLLWOOD SALE----Dave!! You're right--I have it on my calendar from the first inkling I get about the date and I pre-shop several days ahead to see what they may be getting! I was trying to remember to let you know about it, AFTER I got first dibs on what was there--ahead of you! LOL No--really--I was going to email you and tell you about the sale but I'm so focused on making *spppaaaace*, that I forgot! btw--they had the reverse of June (can't remember the name) but it seems they are so wildly popular, they flew off the shelves BEFORE the sale--all of them!!! Another--BTW, Dave, if you HAVE to manage the size of Niagara Falls, and you HAVE to find someone to take a piece off your hands, again--I'm here!!! The one you gave me that I divided to share with Buff didn't make it in Spring '07 (thankfully, hers survived)!!!! But, remember me-only if you HAVE to control it to make room for what YOU bring back from the sale!! hehehe Alexa--that is so nice of you to offer a piece of your A.S., but since I do have an eye coming from an ebay win, don't disturb yours. HUGE, you say??? Oh my--I bet they are truly awesome! Got pics.? I loved the one I got from Hallson's, especially as it matured and mine had 'June-like' colors that were more evident in my shady spot! Again--THANK YOU, for the offer!!!! :o)

Yup, it's morifolia. Black fruit, fig leaf shaped leaves... Self fertile. I would have gotten out the books & looked it up but they're all down at the tattoo shop. Yup, vines are working their way down my arm. Slowly as growth is a function of money in my pocket rather than light & fertilizer. Thanks for the help-

remodelfla-thanks for the timely posting on this topic as lighting was next on our list. I intend to call Juno tech myself just to make sure I'm ordering the correct housings and trims. needsometips08-thanks for the info-my kitchen has lots of earthy colors so I guess the wheat will be a good choice. Today, when we were at the lighting store and actually got to see all the different Juno cans we definitely decided on the wheat. That interior color is a very soft, wheat like/pale gold color-it's really pretty. Also it was nice to see the 5" and the 6" mounted up next to each other. For us, it's the 5" even though it is a bit more expensive. What we can't get over is the HUGE price difference between ordering online or with the lighting store. If we order from laner.com we will save $300+ over the price quoted to us from the lighting store. That's a BIG difference. I would have liked to have been able to give the local company my business but not for that much of a price difference. This forum provides so much helpful info. I feel less stressed out!

Wow, Koidom....the colors on that bird are incredible. The only thing on the picture is the name Golden Pheasant by RT Peterson. Val, I would love to come to your house but you don't need my help!! You've got my address just send the ticket:) Ingrid, you have been trying to get that lamp back!! I just *lost* it over this lamp situation!! I so loved having a lamp by the chair. Yes, I find myself thinking about people on GW when I am out and about. We should try to organize a *swap* type thing where we can trade/sell our things we no longer need!! I did already have the tray. Jan, you are always invited for a party:) Did you see my bottle of EVIL I picked up the other day? Got it & more B*tch to grab for a happy for parties we will be attending!! Don't know if the wine is even any good but I sure do like the labels:) The lamp came from a store here in town....it is so funny, b/c when I was telling the owner about needing a lamp for my buffet the 1st one she suggested was a smaller version of the brown tole one. I said, yes, I have the larger one - which is no longer available - but have it next to a chair....blah, blah, blah. She does have a smaller version of this one - which is so charming!! I did overpay for that lamp but it was one that I couldn't resist!! Below is a link to her store. Anyone interested could call & ask about the smaller one. Maybe she could email you pictures. beancounter, thanks!! I plan on doin another one and changing some things which did include taking the words off. i didnt give any thought to the other objects, but you are absolutely correct!! ill post a new one....got one going right now, but im spending some time with it...this one took about 30 minutes....lol! appreciate the critique!!

And who is this "country bumpkin" person...wait...thats that old lady i know....:P. yeh, thats muh mums!!

nah, truth is she has been so busy with my dad that she hasnt had time to do too much picture takin...

and yes, i am a sony loyalist!! lol

not to mention the canon rebel was just outta my price range!! ;)

Im lovin the H7 though, it does me a great job!!

I have the H5 and the Canon Rebel XTi. They are both terrific cameras.
