I love your place!! It has so many possibilities!! You mentioned that things look better when viewed from one side only. I would suggest forcing the perspective. Design your walkway, patio, etc. so that it runs along the good "one side". Unless the shape of the walkway is ridiculous, people usually prefer to walk on established pathway. Another idea is to use the focal point. If you want people to look "here" but not "there", use plants with brightly colored foliage or interesting form "here". Use plants that catch my attention. In the "there" spot, plant boring things. You mention that June is the big month for your garden. For other months, add bright color artifically with a brightly painted trellis or other small wood structure. For example, in my front yard, I want people to look at my door and porch. I don't want people to look at the 4' tall utility box in the corner by the road. So, I introduced contrasting color, form, and texture by the door. The utility box is surrounded by boring indian hawthorne shrubs. (I thought about not planting anything there, but the utter lack of landscaping actually attracted attention.) I hope this makes sense and helps!

Sometimes its hard to suggest things without knowing the rest of the story, so to speak. There are iris that are white, but some are bluish white and some are yellowish white, and they will look different depending on what they are planted with. Sometimes the bluish white ones can look sort of gray with the wrong companions. Everything Plus is nice and would be harder to figure out what would look good with it if you wanted to have a couple of iris together. I have Princess of Paradise which is sort of similar, and I have it planted with a dark purple NOID historic, Tom Johnson, and a orange iris, so not your color scheme. Some iris grow better in different parts of the country, and so it would be good to ask around where you are to see what grows well in your area. There are a lot of pink selections, and they range from orangy pinks to purpley pinks, and you might want to stay away from the orangy, coraly pinks depending on what else is in your garden. I saw a big bunch of Cherub's Smile at the Blue J gardens, and I thought it was really pretty, and isn't too peachy. I think a dark iris would be nice with the Everything Plus. I have Superstition, and it is a tough iris.

I took pictures of Mrs. B.R. Cant at ARE in Brenham that were a blanket of flowers 12 ft tall, but darn, that was before I had a digital camera. They were in front of the old house with the porch all the way around it and were up to the roof. They have since removed them. When mine was outgrowing it's spot I took a deep breath, cut it back, dug as much root as I could up and planted it at my Mom's house where my dad had his veggie garden before he passed away. It took up almost his whole garden area. She always had a vase of fresh cut roses from them. Now my sister lives there and doesn't water or fertilize much if at all, but it's still alive though not as big.

In my case, the Junco are still around, but they don't come as often, usually only early in the morning and late in the evening. During the day, I usually get a lone Junco instead of a flock. The gel things are worked pretty well. I have had a lot of birds flocks fly toward the window and then part before they reach the window. Thought it looks like of silly. Paul
