Lots of work but you are very blessed to have such a wonderful garden. It is quite sad to see the flowers bowed down to father Winter. However, seeing snow on roses has its own magical appeal. I think it just makes those of us who have winters more appreciative of the growing season. There is nothing like seeing the snow melt and your roses growing and blooming. It is magical and quite an honour to see nature's handiwork.

Kathleen, So yummy looking I just want to pull up a chair and grab a fork. I am the picky one in our house, but I love shrimp. And the heart shaped meatloaf convinced me it is time for meatloaf. I bought one of the rubber thingy baking pans before V day last year and haven't used it yet. So now you know what is on the menu for V day. And it will be color coordinated to the holiday! I DO NOT like black so why am I craving a shopping trip to see what I can find in black?!!? Ya'll need to stop!!! Great deal on the glasses. My DH sent me on errands day before yesterday and I hit Salvation Army,Big Lots,Goodwill, and the Dollar Store before I finished the errands!! Made the cutest Easter table before he got home and he LOVED it! Wanted to know how I did it and was tickled to see I didn't spend too many $$s. I will really try to get a digi cam before Easter so I can post the pics. It's nothing near as elegant as some of Judith's breathtaking creations,but if you knew how "creative challenged" I am you would be surprised I got up the nerve to try anything!! It leans more toward a kid friendly tablesetting. But Hey,it's a start and I do have a young son still at home and oodles of grandkids. All of ya'll are soooooo enabling!!! I love,love,love all of the pics ya'll post and the food you create! I asked for a really nice Kitchenaid mixer for my retirement present.(Hand held with the bent beater was KILLING me trying to make all of the Christmas cookies and gingerbread men etc!!!!) Retirement party is tonight so guess who is making more gingerbread men tomorrow!!!! God is good and he sent me a whole big group of new friends to teach me so many new things! from Lynne's DH tonight.... "So far, with all the tests and all, all the problems that she's dealing with, the feeling is that no individual item has caused the current situation. The UTI is a minimal infection. The pneumonia is very minor. The abscess/lesion appears to be small enough to be insignificant. Mentioned a couple times is another possibility... that there has been so much going with and to Lynne on that the body has just shut down to adjust. Two different nurses mentioned that to me at different times. And finally, again, it was brought up that the whole ordeal could be a product of all these seemingly little individual things coming together to collectively have gotten Lynne to this point. Tomorrow is Monday, meaning the regular teams of doctors will be back on their rounds, and hopefully, we'll get closer to an answer." hi stonesmama! We are scheduled to have the PebbleTec applied on Wednesday, acid washed on Thursday. Can't wait! It was sooo tough to decide on the color, and then I finally realized that if I were to buy this house with ANY of the colors I saw, I would be thrilled, so that helped take the nerves down a bit. Also, I work in real estate and did a multiple listing search of homes for sale with PebbleTec pools, and of the 36 I found in my area, 32 had Tahoe Blue. So for me, that was the deciding factor...I didn't want a pool just like everyone else. And to boot, Majestic plum was in the standard price level for my PB, Tahoe Blue was the next level up...just $300 more, BUT I decided that if I went with Majestic Plum and saved the $300 there, I could easilt justify adding the Shimmering Sea. I think that Simmering Sea is just going to make me smile everytime I see that pool! I commend you for going with Blue Lagoon without ever having seen it in real life! You are a brave woman! I at least saw Majestic Plum in 1 pool, and then the rest of my research came from pool owners in CA and AZ who were kind enough to share photos with me. I will definitely post photos...if I can figure out how! Lots of folks seems to find it a challenge!
