So that's what that darn stuff is I've been constantly pulling out of a newly dug area that I'm putting off planting until fall, can't remember having a problem with it before. It grows fast in dry soil. You saved me having to post a photo of the stuff and get an id. Those petunias, stephy, are gorgeous, as are the pansies. I really like the pink and white petunia.

Nice pictures! I pulled all my passion flower up this year to keep from having butterfly chrysalises hanging all over the house. Your vinca, as I call it, looks nice and healthy. That is a pretty color.

Thank you all! I didn't mean to offend anybody here! There is a distinct flavor and texture difference between plum and prune. Plums are more juicy and Clingstone, [the stone is usually attached to the fruit] and not used for drying. Prune need longer season to ripen and are free stone. Also, shape of Plum is round, Prunes are longer to a point both sides. In German Prune is called Zwetschge, Plum is called Pflaume Eric The grower from whom I got the scion wood from called it Empire. Konrad
