What style/wood/finish are your current doors? If you have a fairly common style you can probably order custom doors/drawer fronts from Home Depot, even if you have to finish/paint them yourself to match (might have to redo all the cabinets - sounds like your cabinets are older so can't just get stain/paint from manufacturer and finish new doors). I don't have any info, just know that about 10 years ago I ordered custom doors through them to put on a whirlpool tub apron. Good luck.

You could try contacting custom kitchen places in your area- I ended up having to have some doors/drawers made.The kitchen place actually hired out the doors to someone else (wish I knew who it was). Seems like that is a common practice- lots of these places make the boxes and job out the doors. However, after several months with the first place, we turned down the doors cuz they were too far off- We hired someone else, and really, they are not a perfect match (much better than the first fellow), but even he said he would never do it again unless he could do all the doors. It took him tons of tries and trips to a speciality stain/finish place to try and get the stain/finish to match.

So, I think getting the doors/drawer fronts may not be your biggest hurdle. But, matching the finishes is such a difficult task- that it may be nearly impossible to find someone capable/willing to do it! As ajsmama suggested, you might have the best results with refinishing all your doors/drawer fronts to match the new ones!

Try Scherrs cabinets. Many people on the forum have ordered from them in the past with great success. I have some samples of their wood doors and they are really beautiful.

I pulled out the old receipt (1997). Home Depot ordered my doors (actually I did all the paperwork, they just handled the $) from Quality Doors in Cedar Hill TX. I had to pick from their door styles but found one that matched my vanity. Got them the sizes I needed for access under tub, they bored them and I bought the concealed hinges from them. Bought unfinished red oak, bought stain from vanity manufacturer, stained and finished them myself, carpenter put on hinges and hung them. Sold the house 10 years later, no problems with warping or cracking. HTH.

These are really cheap and old kitchen cabinets, they are from 1995. A few of the draws, the white front has peeled off. The doors on the other hand got ruined from dogs chewing at it. The whole kitchen actually looks really good except for these few pieces. I am really trying to get this house ready to lease. I am not looking to spend $30k on a new kitchen, other homes in our area are selling for $800k with the same crap as ours, I actually just walked through 2 bank owned homes in the neighborhood and noticed that.

Oh, and I did try home depot. I actually picked out a granite counter-top but first I need these cabinets fixed. They showed me a door that is similar to mine but the design does not match exactly so it was no good. The mans advice was to surf online, and hence I am here :)

If you found the cabinets online why can't you order replacement doors through them? Your old ones may have yellowed, but if they're thermofoil I can't think of anything you can do to get the new ones to match the old ones. I just checked Quality Doors' website, doesn't look like they have thermofoil but you can try this company

Is the link a link to your actual cabinets? If so, why not just order them directly from TheCabinetStore?

Your best bet would be to order them from the same people who made the originals...unless the door or finish have been discontinued (and it looks like that is not the case). You'll get the best match by going with the same manufacturer.

Hi again, first let me thank you all for your advice. I was looking at scherrs and Maplecraft online and I am not really sure what I am looking at. These look like a DIY place? I am not a DIY kinda guy at all, and my mother isn't either so I was trying to find a company that can do this. I will try calling that quality door place later; I really wanted to find a place close so by so they can take care of the installation as well.
