These are the blooms on a houseplant we have - from the spring. I have no idea what the plant is, but the blooms this year were beautiful. They are very very tiny and I had a new camera (Canon PS SX110 - not too advanced, but all new to me!) Close-ups of plants are about all I have mastered.

Love those quilts! I can't wait till the theme of the week is old-fahioned rug hooking. :-) Konrad, yes. Jill died eight years ago on Memorial Day. Sadly, quite a few of us at the Kitchen Table forum have lost a child.

I've been out of town for a while. Started to comment on each pic, but, they are all just great. No "fresh" fall pics here yet. I was in Philly where I could have gotten some great ones... if about a week or 10 days later. Most have seen my fall pics from earlier years, so, I'll just have to post to this thread when I have some "fall". I sure do appreciate getting some from those who are already enjoying it at their locales. Keep'em coming!

Here's one from my dad's collection: a wedding from the 1940s. The woman in black is quite a contrast to Carol's Red Hatters. I'm sitting here (at work) in my jeans, wondering if she's younger than I. Hard to tell. I'd also like to know what the last man on the right is staring at. LOL
