Vickie! Your gardens/flowers are beautiful! I get so inspired when I look at other peoples garden photos. Your pictures make me feel good about the ones I've ordered. I'm trying not to be impatient but I'm itching to get in the garden and dig! HA! Yesterday I went with my mother-in-law out to her aunts place who is an avid gardener as she is moving at the end of this week and she had some plants to give us so I dug a bunch of stuff up and then planted most of it at the MIL's and brought a few things home for myself. It was so nice to be digging in the dirt and planting on such a nice day (not so nice today, raining like crazy). I got a phlox (coral in colour), silver mound (love that stuff), pink lupine and a good clump of purple iris. On the way home I stopped at the grocery store and noticed some small potted french pussy willow bushes so I grabbed one of those too! Ahhhh......I do love when the snow melts and things start getting green again and I can finally get back outside. I placed 3 daylily orders and I figure the first one will get here next week so I'l be back out there again soon enough! I'll come on and let everyone know which bonus daylilies I received as well..... lynxe: I looked up Marissa Jonea. It's very pretty and unique looking, very nice! Jason

Avedon - Yes Abraham Darby is a beauty. I really love it. At first I was on the hunt for another Austin rose "Heritage" but couldn't find it anywhere so I bought this one instead. It is blooming its head off right now. It has not disappointed. Now I actually like it better than Heritage (which I have grown twice before). The blooms last longer and the flower is a prettier form I think. Mine is doing really great. I have 2 other Austin's, Gertrude Jekyll and Winchester Cathedral. Jason

i love silhouettes but haven't learned how to shoot them yet...

Dave, never apologize for your deep feelings--they are what make us all human & connected. What a beautiful tribute for such a beautiful little girl. Your love for her is everlasting. There is one picture of you & your sweet Dagny and you can just see the connection in both of your eyes. That bond will never be broken. Keeping you & your dear wife & family in Special Thoughts & Prayers. "A Flower is not wasted because it lasted only a season....or because only one person saw it." ~~ anon.
