Caroline, you are so right. I have ordered from them several times and just love the way they package their plants. The plants arrive in perfect condition and are big and healthy. They are one of my favorite mail order businesses. They have thrown in some freebies in the past like gloves, soap, etc. Great customer service too. faye

sahoyaref: They are both the same, Nephrolepis 'Fluffy Ruffles', they were so cute that I got 2, I'll use one in the terrarium and one in a dish I'm making. I made a mistake, the distance between NY and Guam is 10,000 not 7,00 as I said before... :) Komi: You were right, they know how to pack them! I'll post a picture when I'm done, I just have few things to add. Ana :)

It's obscenely overpriced even if the entire town were to authenticate the pair. Also, I think 1stdibs is overpriced a bit, too, per your link, but...I almost always think that about 1stdibs. I dunno, I think they are expecting Kelly Wearstler to shop there. Apartment Therapy listed a vintage couch on 1stdibs for $1500.00...and the responses were along the lines of "it must smell really bad of cat pee for it to be so cheap on 1stdibs". Ha. I think Ebay has the best prices for murano glass...well, they usually do :-) Joanna

Wow GT, I didn't think Betty was a frog. I mean I thought she probably popped up in your yard just like mine did and she looks so much like my toads :) But don't tell her, might be an insult to say she looks like a toad :) On closer inspection, she is much greener than my tan toads....oops, another potential amphibian/toadian insult to Betty! Interesting link on Bullfrogs, amazing that they eat anything. It's actually good they are eating crawfish which are also now considered a pest species here in AZ. But I can see how they might put a dent in other secies that we'd like to keep around too. I suppose if you were breeding and releasing little Bettys and Bufords that wouldn't be so great for the environment. But seeing how they are your pets in your own little garden of eden, don't see how that hurts anything. Like Jim said, it's when people go releasing non-natives, spreading them around the native areas, when we get into some troubles with balance. It's much easier to control the spread of animals like frogs contained in a closed yard than controlling the spread of plants like grasses which are subject to distribution by birds and wind though. I never could get paalexan's site to come up - wonder if too many of us were trying to access it.....
