I had been watching my son play in the yard when I looked out the window and saw my son playing church with our cat. He was standing in front of him, preaching. I giggled and went back to wok.
A while later, I heard loud meowing and hissing. I ran to the back yard and saw my son "baptizing" the cat in a tub of water.
"What are you doing" Stop that! He's afraid of water! I yelled.
MY son loooked up and said, Well, he tshould have thougt of that before he joined my church."
P.S. The cat is fine

Reminds me of the stories of my aunt. My grandfather was a minister, and she would line up the chickens, including the one that everyone else was afraid of, and preach to them.

... till s/he was pushed?

It's not only a parent's main job ... but a preacher's as well ... to give folks under their command (ahem!) full rein to make their own decisions.

I guess that some of the non-Baptists, being sprinklers rather than dunkers, will presume the cat to be now a Baptist?
