I started working on this in the fall of 2004. Actually the boys began with the iris bed and went right up the side between posts. Earlier that year on Mother's Day they dug up a small 8x10.

3rd year about 8x10...

3rd fall and winter of 4th year,I was anxious and eager to be ready for garden seaon of 2005...I did some wintersowing, that's what those jugs are up there...

I didn't think I was going to have enough to fill in and I was going bonkers trying maintain and fill this upper and lower garden together...
