One of my favorite subjects to photograph is kids (kids I know and kids I don't) but very rarely post them on the web in a public forum, so I will pick my purloined Karl Rosenfeld peonies that my ex-friend (we parted company over something else to do with taking pictures) grabbed make that stole from a lady's garden and . . .
last spring I so badly wanted to photograph a pussywillow and even called the city forester to find out if there are any around town. He did not return my call, who has time for old ladies asking about pussywillows anyway? So I ordered and planted one and this little kitty rested by it all one afternoon. It is a stray (I think) I am feeding, and she is gradually warming up to me. I call her Pussywillow. My kids had a little golden book about a kitty by that name when they were young.
I *think* they are Karl Rosenfeld peonies and I simply must have one or two of those for my garden . . .
